We are so excited that you are taking the time to get to know us! We were blessed with the adoption of our daughter, Elizabeth, and love being parents. We are a young, fun-loving, Christian couple who are thrilled to add to our family again through adoption.
About Us
We met in high school and have been married for over 14 wonderful years. We have experienced infertility issues, and two miscarriages. Through these experiences we learned that God will not lead us where his Grace can't sustain us.
We are a strong, communicative couple who love God. We love to spend our evenings cooking supper together and talking about how our day went. We enjoy going for walks with our dog.
We love to camp, have bonfires, grill and get together with our families. Both our families camp together every year. We like to travel and learn about different aspects of history, geography and nature. We highly value education, and try to learn from everything we do in our lives.
About Matthew
Matthew is the most caring person I know! His quick wit and sense of humor leads to lots of fun, laughing moments. He is very logical thinker.
I have seen firsthand the love that he gives, and it never ceases to amaze me. After work you’ll find him playing on the floor with Elizabeth and puts her to bed every night with a prayer. Matthew loves hunting and has formed a bond with my father and uncles that will last for generations.
Matthew is Vice President and Network Administrator of a computer company. He is very hardworking and has been with the company for 13 years.
About Sarah
Sarah brings a balance to my life that I otherwise would not have. Sarah loves to read and enjoys being a stay-at-home mom.
Sarah has a gift that allows her to interact with children easily. It is amazing to see children warm up to her right away. She is a spiritual person and loves God with all her heart.
She can relate to kids so well and is an excellent mother. Sarah has managed a classroom of students with ease when she substitute teaches in the local elementary school. She respects the students and they are respectful to her. She makes the kids laugh and they look forward to having her teach them.
About Elizabeth
Elizabeth is a blessing from God and came into our lives through adoption! She adores her cousins.
Elizabeth loves to talk and just be happy! She is very interested in everything that goes on around her.
Our Faith
Our families raised us with God being the center of our life. Sarah’s dad is a retired pastor of 25 years. We believe that Jesus Christ is the way to salvation and wish to share this with your children. We attend a Mennonite church that preaches Bible based religion.
Matthew is very busy in our church. He loves God with all of his heart and desires to serve him daily.
Sarah has taught children’s Bible classes. Sarah has a kind heart of Jesus and loves to share with those around her.
Our Home
We live in a rural farming community in Michigan. Our two-story house has three bedrooms/one bathroom. Our three and a half acre yard has served as a baseball diamond and football field. We have a large vegetable garden and we can all of our produce to enjoy during the winter. We enjoy the outdoors a lot and tend to our flower garden, which always amazes us.
Our Family
We are extremely close to our families, regardless of distance. Our families are very supportive of our adoption and excited for us. We come together at one place with both families for several occasions throughout the year. Your child would have many cousins to play with.
