Dear Birthmother,

We met at the mall five years ago, and have been together ever since. Our marriage is built of course on love, but most of all, a deep respect for one another. We can't wait to share our love and enrich our life with a child. After finding out about our infertility, we never doubted that Gods plan was for us to adopt.

About Us

We lead a very active lifestyle that is centered on family time. At night we spend time around our kitchen table eating, and sharing bits and pieces about our day. In the summer, our days are spent primarily outside, at the park having picnics with family and friends.

Our fenced-in back yard is where the real fun happens; we both love baseball and play in our backyard mostly every evening. We grill out and eat under the North Carolina navy blue sky as often as possible. In the winter we enjoy watching movies, playing board games, or sitting by the fire enjoying a good book. No matter what the season our Sundays are spent attending our Methodist church, then a late lunch with family and friends at our home.

My Wife Emily

What first attracted me to Emily were her big bright green eyes and her smile. But after being around her for five minutes I quickly realized how awesome of a woman she truly is. She has this way of making you everybody feel important and listened to. Emily enjoys many hobbies, including quilting, decorating our home and working in her garden. She made a beautiful baby quilt for the baby's nursery. She has turned our house into a warm and inviting home where she has mastered the role of hostess.

Emily is an excellent nanny; the little boys she takes care of love and adore her. She is a caregiver by nature and that side really comes out whenever we are around children. She will be an awesome mom.

My Husband Matt

Matt is my best friend, and the most patient person you could ever meet. He is branch manager for a finance company and has been for nine years. His work ethic is impeccable, and so is his ability as a provider. He will teach your child compassion for others integrity and patience.

Matt will be a wonderful dad to your child. He is after all a big kid at heart, and he loves making others laugh whether he uses his outlandish dance moves, or a joke. He loves sports, especially the Dallas Cowboys, or Georgia Bulldogs. Not only does he love to watch sports, but he loves to play them as well. Matt has a very nurturing spirit. And when you’re down, he can comfort you with ease.

Our Pets

We have two dogs George and Charlie. They both love children and, will make wonderful playmates for your child. George and Charlie will both be like Nana from Peter Pan, and will be always present when they need a hug or kiss.

Our Family

We both are blessed to have supportive families who are so excited about this adoption, and opening their arms to your child. Our parents can't wait to be first-time grandparents, and have helped us prepare our nursery. Emily's step dad made a beautiful cradle, Matt's mom made a blanket. We get together with family every chance that we have, for holidays, picnics, and game night.

Our Home

We have a beautiful three bedroom home in a great neighborhood, in a really good school system. Like most homes the kitchen is where we spend a lot of our time, the living room is nice size and has a corner cleaned out and ready for toys. The nursery is ready to go for either a boy or girl in bright vivid colors, and jungle animals, there is even a window seat that overlooks our front yard, and neighborhood pond.
