Our Lives Together
We have been married for six years. Traveling, outdoor activities and spending time with friends and family are some of the things we enjoy doing. We celebrate holidays southern-style, surrounded by family and good food. We also work together in our church children’s ministry. Tina is the preschool director while Matt is a teacher/puppeteer.
We've both always wanted to be parents. After many failed fertility treatments we felt God was leading us to adoption. We also decided early on that Tina would be a stay at home mom.
My Wife Tina
Tina is a beautiful, intelligent, and resilient woman who inspires me to be a better husband on a daily basis.
She is thoughtful and compassionate, often babysitting to give a mom a day out or preparing meals to provide comfort to families in times of need. She is also an amazing aunt to her two nieces.
Tina enjoys curling up with a book or watching a movie but also enjoys gardening and cycling. She loves to dance and recently discovered her artistic talent for painting.
For as long as I've known her, Tina has dreamed of being a mom. I know that she will be a wonderful, nurturing, and devoted mother, and will raise a child to their unique gifts and talents and be prepared for success in the world.
My Husband Matt
Matt is a wonderful husband and his strong faith in God is reflected in everything he does. He is patient, understanding, compassionate and the guy others look up to. He is intelligent and dependable but he also enjoys playing video games, acting silly and doing impersonations. He enjoys golfing and basketball and plays on our church softball team. He is also happy to curl up on the couch with me to watch a movie. Matt works hard and enjoys his job but is sure to be home for dinner. He loves his family and has made me a better person. He is a great role model and I am proud of the father that I know he will be.
Our Home in Texas
We live in a four bedroom, two bath house in a beautiful community in north Texas. We have a large fenced back yard where we love to garden and a patio where we enjoy cook outs. Our community sits on a golf course and has a beautiful walking trail and several community pools and playgrounds. It also hosts several monthly and annual family events. It is the perfect place to raise a family.
Our Family and Friends
Family gatherings are an important part of our lives and our holidays always include family. Last year we celebrated Christmas at our house with both families and it was wonderful. Tina has a lot of family here in Texas and her mother purchased a home just five miles away so she can see her grandchild often. Tina has one brother and two nieces as well as several cousins with children. Matt has one brother and more than 10 cousins under the age of 12 in his family. We have a dog, Colby, who is 10 and a Cat, Jasmine, who is 13.
We enjoy spending time with the many friends we have made. We also have a huge church family that is extremely supportive. All of our friends & family are very excited about us adopting and are anxious to welcome our baby.
Our Promise to You
Our promise to you is that we will love your child unconditionally and instill the confidence in them to strive for the best education and pursue their dreams. We will show them the world and remind them every day that they are loved and valued. They will realize the value of family and feel they are in a constant embrace of support and love from God, family and friends. They will know their adoption story and how blessed we are to have them in our lives. We will happily send letters and photos of your beautiful child as often as you wish.
