Dear Birthmother,
We are a young and active couple and are so thrilled to become first time parents through adoption. We feel lucky to be surrounded by an amazing network of friends and family who are also excited to welcome your baby into their hearts. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to introduce ourselves.
Our Life Together
Our home is filled with love, laughter, and fun. As a young couple, we are very active. We love to travel, and although we visit our friends and families across the West Coast and Midwest most often, we have also been able to travel to Argentina, Hawaii, and Alaska in the two and a half years we’ve been married. Travel has always been a big part of our lives, and we can’t wait to travel with your child and introduce them to the many things the world has to offer.
In addition to travel, we share a number of other interests including cooking, watching movies, going to museums and the theater, playing with our dog, Daphne, taking day trips to the beach or mountains, and attending all kinds of sporting events.
About Libby
If you were to ask others about Libby’s best qualities, they would tell you that she is kind-hearted, has an infectious smile, a great sense of humor, and a positive, upbeat outlook on life.
Libby currently works as an office manager in an accounting firm, but can’t wait to become a stay at home mom. Libby will be a hands-on mom, and is eager for the opportunity to take your child to story time at a local library, teach them how to bake cookies, plant seeds in the back yard, or finger paint with them.
Libby is very generous with her time, and always looks for ways to reach-out to do something for others. She frequently makes jam, and cookies for our neighbors, or will offer to volunteer at the temple we belong to, or other groups in our community.
Libby’s other passions include travel, cooking/baking, reading, and spending time with friends.
About Aaron
Aaron is loyal and devoted to his friends and family. He is dependable, and his good sense of humor and easy-going, fun-loving nature make him a great friend, son, brother and husband.
Aaron believes that a good educational foundation is important, and Aaron himself is a licensed attorney and a CPA. Aaron works as an accountant for an accounting firm in Northern California, and has been known to write funny sports articles about the company’s softball team, or put together a movie for his co-workers to enjoy at the office.
Aaron will be a caring and devoted father, and is looking forward to getting out in the yard to play soccer, build a fort out of couch cushions, or go to the latest Disney movie.
Aaron has a lot of interests, and really loves sports- Aaron is a huge Chicago Bears fan. Aaron’s other interests include travel, working around the house, playing Wii, golf, theater, and attending sporting events.
Our Pets
We share our home with a two-year-old English Bulldog, Daphne, who in addition to being a cuddle-bug, is very gentle and loving with children.
We also have two cats, Spike and Djibouti, who are five year old littermates that Libby rescued when she lived in New Mexico.
Our Home and Family
We own a spacious three bedroom, two and a half bathroom home in a suburban neighborhood of Northern California. We have a large backyard with lots of fruit trees, and plenty of room for a swing set, fort or playhouse.
Our neighborhood is very family-friendly. Each year the neighbors collaborate on a special thing to do for the children of the neighborhood; in 2008 it was a haunted house, and hay rides for Halloween.
Our Faith
As conservative Jews, our faith plays an important role in our lives. Judaism is a religion rich with tradition and ritual, and we use those to strengthen our relationship with God, our families, and each other. We will instill in your child a strong belief in God, and the importance of the relationships they have with other people.
Our Promise
We promise to provide a loving and stable home for your child to grow up in. We will love the child unconditionally, cultivating their individuality, and providing your child with the tools they need to be a successful, happy adult.
We will honor your child’s adoption story, and are open to sharing letters, visits, and photos with you if you are comfortable. If you would like to know more about us, please contact Lifetime Adoption at 1-800-923-6784.
