Hello, we are Adam and Heather. We are delighted and honored at the prospect that someday soon we will have a child "born in our hearts." We hope it helps for you to know your child will be loved, accepted and safe, unconditionally.

All about Us
We have been married for more than 18 wonderful years and we're told we look cute together, holding hands and sneaking hugs. We have so much love to give to a child and a comfortable home to provide a warm and safe environment.

Heather decided to obtain her certification as an Early Childhood Educator shortly after she was married. Through her training and working with children, she gained a great deal of knowledge and experience about child development.

We have both wanted a child in our lives for many years and believe adoption is best for our family.

Our beliefs center on tolerance, acceptance and spirituality. Our child will know the unconditional love of God that is found in our hearts.

About Heather
Heather is my "happily ever after," my best friend, my true love, and the most profoundly alive person I have ever met. She is genuine, caring, honest, candid and full of fun. Heather smiles with her whole face, laughs with her whole body, and she loves with her whole heart.

Heather is not a serious artist, instead her art is fun. Bright colors, bold shapes--there is a simple joy to her work. Heather also loves sharing art activities with children. One of her favorites is making Peanut Butter Playdoh.

Heather is a good listener. She has a way of putting people at ease. She always makes time for family and friends.

Heather has this special connection with children. Her formal training as an Early Childhood Educator has only enhanced her considerable natural abilities with children. Heather has strong feelings that she can care for a child best as a stay-at-home mom. I know she will be a great mom, simply because it's an indefinable part of who Heather is.

About Adam
Adam has always been my best friend and I continue to love him more every day. He makes me laugh and is always there when I need him. He is also dedicated to continue building a strong marital relationship, and will continue to be a great provider for our family.

Adam has a very stable job working as a computer programmer. He has worked with the same company for more than ten years, and still enjoys developing solutions for his customers' challenging situations.

One of Adam's great passions is sailing. We both love to spend time reading and relaxing on our boat.

Adam will love to be a "daddy", playing laughing, clowning around--I know he will be a loving, caring and supportive father. I know Adam will be a wonderful dad and will make his family his top priority. Adam's honesty, integrity, and caring heart will make him a great parent and role model.

I truly cannot wait to see Adam's face light up when he holds our child in his arms for the first time. Whatever Adam does, he does with all his heart. Adam is truly my best friend.

Our Home and Community
We live in a three-bedroom, two-bath home. We have a spacious, enclosed backyard--safe for children to play and explore.

Our home is in a small town in the foothills of Northern California. There are local festivals and fairs, and a vibrant arts community. Our community has some of the best quality schools in the county.

Our Extended Family
Heather's family is familiar with adoption. Her mom was adopted as an infant and is very thankful that she grew up in such a loving and caring home. Everyone enthusiastically awaits the opportunity to welcome the newest member of our family.

Our Hopes for the Future
We thank you for considering us as adoptive parents for your child. We are really looking forward to reading bedtime stories to our child after having a wonderful bubble bath and being all warm and snuggled in the bed.
