More About Our Family
|
| Our Special Interests |
We both enjoy reading and traveling together. Karyn has recently discovered a love for photography, which compliments her interest in scrapbooking. Al is a history buff who enjoys learning about new things to share with our children and others. He also likes to play games with the children and help them practice for their various sporting interests. Both of us enjoy sports, but Al’s favorite is basketball, while Karyn loves football. We take pleasure in having friends over regularly to enjoy holidays and other important events. |
| Our Faith |
We are practicing Christians who participate in regular attendance at our church. Our faith plays a large role in our daily lives and helps guide us in our decision making, as well as our parenting. We like to serve our community together through our church. On Thanksgiving morning, the family delivers meals to those living in poverty. For Christmas, we always have the children pick out gifts for other children in need and deliver them to the families of individuals who are currently in prison. |
| Our Musical Interest |
We both like to listen to a variety of music, from classic rock and roll to country. Al’s favorite type of music, however, is classic rock and Karyn loves to listen to contemporary Christian music. |
| About Our Home |
We live in a spacious five bedroom four bath home in Georgia. When God began preparing us to adopt, we moved here because it was ideal for our growing family. There is a loft area where the children play, a recreation room, and large bedrooms for the children. Your daughter would have her own room with a connecting bathroom. |
| Our Children |
Austin is fourteen years old and is a freshman in high school. Thomas is fourteen years old and is in eighth grade. Quint is nine years old and is in the fourth grade. |

| Our Neighborhood |
Our home is in a safe neighborhood that has a community pool, activity field, and regular gatherings for the area. We also live in a wonderful school district that has won many awards for excellence in education. Our city is within driving distance of the zoo, the aquarium, museums, Six Flags, and many historical sites. We also have a lake nearby where we regularly take the children to boat, have cookouts, and swim. |
