About Us
We are a fun-loving, easy-going couple with very big hearts. It was always our dream to raise a family. Unfortunately, we have not been able to have children, despite lots of medical treatments. Our prayers were answered when we were blessed with our son, Henry, whom we adopted at birth. He is our sweet sunshine, and we are forever grateful he has come into our lives.

Our marriage is a solid relationship based on love, trust, respect, listening, honesty, and of course the big survival tool - humor. We talk about everything, even difficult things that can be hard to say. When we accidentally hurt each other's feelings, we say we are sorry right away. If we can't agree on who wronged who, we call upon "Judge Bunny" (a stuffed bunny rabbit with a very expressive face). Judge Bunny hears both sides of the argument, then usually sentences one or both of us to a punishment of three kisses or more.

Christine was born and raised in the Northwest and feels very at home here. She is a caring, warm-hearted person and is well-liked by her friends. Christine has a great sense of humor and is very playful. She loves kids and has a knack for engaging children of all ages. In the past she worked with families and children as a counselor.

When Henry was born she left work and loves being a stay-at-home mom. She enjoys having a little more time to put her talents as a wonderful cook and homemaker into practice. Christine is happiest when she is in the kitchen throwing together a healthy gourmet meal, in the garden planting flowers, sewing 'baby stuff' for our next child, or singing in a large community choir.

Allen loves the outdoors, camping, and hiking, which is one of the reasons he moved here from New York. Allen is a very kind, affectionate and loving person, with a wonderful sense of humor. He is patient and nurturing, and takes good care of you when you are sick.

Allen is a good listener and encourages others to be their best. He works very hard in our toy store and is passionate about his work and mission - that of 'keeping healthy play alive' for children. But he also knows how to have fun and relax, play with Henry, and be a wonderful father.

Our son Henry is one of the happiest little kids you will ever meet. He is growing like a weed and learning new things everyday. He has a great smile and a sweet personality.

We love him so much and would love for him to have a little brother or sister to grow up with.

Our Neighborhood
We live in the Northwest in a beautiful neighborhood with lots of trees, lakes and parks. There are many fun things for kids like pools, museums, the aquarium, playfields, and the zoo.

Our parents live close by and visit us often, and we have regular family gatherings. Everyone in our family will be so overjoyed to welcome another little one into our family.

Our Promise
We will value and respect our child as a person with their own voice. We will teach them right from wrong and guide them with a gentle hand through life's ups and downs. We will more than meet all our child's needs, but without spoiling him or her. We think experiences are what shape children, rather than lots of things, and we vow to provide them with just that. We value education while at the same time giving the child plenty of room for playing and adventures. We are able to send our children to college and will do what ever we can to support their education. There are many resources for parents in our community.

We would love to meet you, but would leave that decision up to you. We are happy to send photos and letters over the years, as we have in Henry's adoption. We will always love your child and we will keep a special place in our hearts for you as well, as you will be the source of our happiness and much gratitude.
