Dear Birthmother,

Thank you for considering us as an adoptive family for your child.  We have been married for six years and live in Maryland.  After infertility challenges we believe God has led us to adoption.  We are excited to bring a child into our home to share our love with.  Family is very important to us and we will provide a safe and happy home, full of love and fun.

About Us
We met after high school and we’ve been “together” for thirteen years, married for six.  We are so close and have never spent a day apart.  Andrew is a grain farmer and also raises cattle and grows flowers for a large nursery.  Nancy helps on the farm and will be a stay-at-home mom.  Since we are self-employed we will be able to have our child with us during the day and not in daycare. We look forward to sharing our farm life with a child.

About Nancy
Nancy is a wonderful and lovely person.  She does so many good things for me.  She is kind and compassionate.  She is talented and creative.  She is the love of my life.  She loves children and has a good way with them.  She will be a great mom.  Nancy is an animal lover so we have an assortment of animals including two dogs, a cat, a pot-belly pig, chickens, turkeys and a guinea pig!

In her spare time you might find Nancy creating beautiful scrapbooks, decorating the house, or working in the yard.  Nancy loves to garden and you can find her picking her homegrown vegetables and preserving them.  She is a fabulous cook!  We enjoy spending quality time together at home or out sightseeing.  On Sundays we spend the entire day together, starting with Church in the morning followed by a nice sit-down lunch.  We might finish out the day touring a museum or historic home.

About Andrew
Andrew is my soul mate.  He takes care of me and comforts me.  He’s the love of my life.  He likes to have fun and enjoys the little things in life.  He is gentle and kind and loves children.  Seeing him interact with our nieces and nephews I know he’s going to be the most wonderful father.

Andrew is an outdoorsman and in his free time you will probably find him with a fishing pole in hand, sometimes at our pond, or out in the river in a boat or canoe.  He likes to work in our vegetable garden, checking it each morning for ripe veggies!  We love spending time at home together on our farm and we truly cherish our simple country life.

Our Family
We are a very close-knit family that loves spending time together.  We especially enjoy the holidays gathered together telling stories and sharing delicious country style meals.  We are both from large families.  Andrew is the youngest of 13 children and Nancy has five siblings. 

Most of our siblings have children so it makes for a large gathering on either side of the family!  Whether it be a summer crab feast, a July 4th picnic, or a birthday bash, we love to get together with our families.

Our Home
We own a three bedroom two bathroom ranch-style home situated on a 125-acre farm.  The three other houses on our lane are all family, including two young nieces and a nephew who would love to have another playmate.  Also on our lane are Nancy’s parents and they are so excited to get another grandchild.  We have a lot of family members that are within a few miles from us.

We have a large yard and lots of room for ball playing or bike riding.  There are trails in our woods that offer hours of fun and a large pond for fishing or canoeing.  We have a nursery set up already and would love to share it with a special little one.

Our Faith
We were both raised Catholic and our children will also be.  We practice our faith regularly, attending Mass on Sunday mornings and holidays.  We believe strongly in our faith and will raise our child by those values.
