Dear Birthmother,

Hello!  Our family can’t wait to adopt again!  With a dad, mom, and four big brothers, our next child will get lots of love and attention.  Our kids are a priority in our home, they are our greatest blessing!  We live out in the country where there’s lots of fresh air and room to run and play.  Our kids love exploring our old barns, riding bikes, swinging on our big tree swing, and building forts.

Andy and Carmen are excited to adopt again!About Us
We have been happily married for 12 years and have a good, strong marriage.  It’s fun being married to your best friend!  Andy works at a nearby Bible camp as the property manager and Carmen is a stay-at-home mom.  She is so thankful to be able to stay home with the kids.

Our faith in God is central to everything we do.  We attend church every Sunday and teach our children to love God and love other people.  Most of our friends are from church and our kids look forward to going to Sunday School and playing with their friends after church each week.

As a dad, Andy shows kindness and patience with his kidsMy Husband, Andy
Andy is very easy-going and dependable.  He likes to have fun and visit with good friends.  I am so glad I married him!  As a dad, he shows kindness and patience with our kids.  They are so glad when he gets home from work and run to greet him with a big hug.  Our children are a priority to him and he likes to do things with them on the weekends like playing football in the yard, going on a bike ride, or taking them fishing.  One hobby he enjoys is woodworking and he has his own woodworking shop set up in the basement.  He’s made us some nice furniture!

Carmen is an excellent homemaker and stay-at-home momMy Wife, Carmen
I learned quite early on in our relationship that Carmen loves kids, and especially babies.  She is fantastic with our boys and they love her very much.  She likes to have them help her cook and is very good at talking with them about what is going on in their lives and what is important to them.

Some of her favorite things to do are cooking, sewing, knitting, playing piano, and of course – shopping.  Carmen is very in tune with the different issues our kids face, and is very good about pointing out those issues to me when I don’t notice them so that we can help our kids together.

The boys are excited to have a little sister! Our Greatest Blessing, Our Children!
We have four sons, Luke, Paul, David and Samuel.  Luke, our oldest, is in the sixth grade and loves to do things outside like riding his four-wheeler, going exploring, and taking care of his calf.  Paul is in the 2nd grade and has a lot of energy!  One of his favorite things to do is play football.  David is five years old and is our friendliest child!  He’s happy if he has a fast car to play with.  Samuel is three and is a little charmer.  Everyone loves Samuel!  He loves to have mom or dad read him a book.

Our Home
Andy and Carmen's home in Kansas We live out in the country in Kansas in a ranch style home and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of country life.  We have a dog, cats, chickens and the kids just got some goats!  We also really enjoy having a garden, the kids think it’s fun to go out and get a snack whenever they want!  Our rural community is very strong and stable.  It’s a great place to raise kids!

Carmen and Andy are open to sending you letters and photosOur Promise to You
We love our next child already even though we haven’t met him or her yet!  We will provide a safe, stable, and loving home for your child, surrounded by lots of family and fun.  After adopting three times we are familiar with all that adoption means to our children.  We tell them from a young age the unique way that they came to our family and how glad we are that they are with us.  We will share with your child how special you are to our family as well!  We do our best to teach our children about their heritage and history.

We have open relationships with our children’s birthmothers and regularly send them letters and pictures.  We would love to send you pictures and letters as well, if you are comfortable.
