Thank you for taking the time to read our letter. We are Andy and Jennifer and we want to share our lives with your child. We have prayed about this adoption and are confident God has a special plan for our future. Even though we do not know you, God does, and we have prayed about you and the decision you will make about adoption.

About Us
We are a loving and giving couple. We have a solid marriage and look forward to expanding our family through adoption. We enjoy spending time together at home, at sporting events, restaurants and vacations. God is a major influence in our lives and we are active in our local Baptist church. We have one child, Brianna, from a previous marriage and we enjoy spending time with her and watching her soccer games and school programs.

About Jennifer, by Andy
Jennifer is a very caring, loving and compassionate wife and parent. She is a good listener and she helps me care for Brianna. Jennifer loves to travel. She also enjoys reading and spending time with family and friends. Jennifer loves babysitting our niece and nephew.

Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a Master of Education degree in Counseling Education. She is a school counselor for a local vocational center, tenth-twelfth grade students. At work, Jennifer sponsors two student organizations and is very supportive of her students. Education is important to Jennifer and she helps Brianna with homework and explains things in ways for Brianna to understand.

From an early age, Jennifer began collecting giraffes. I have begun the tradition of giving her a giraffe, as well as a Willow Tree figurine each Christmas. She also has a knack for pottery and antique furniture.

About Andy, by Jennifer
Andy is a kind, gentle and loving husband and father. He is continuously reminding Brianna and me how much he loves us.

Andy works as a commercial electrician for one of the largest industries in North Mississippi. Andy holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Electrical Technology and recently completed coursework toward a Bachelor’s degree.  Andy has an excellent work ethic and he values education.

During his time away from work, while Brianna and I are at school, Andy enjoys hunting and fishing – being outdoors. At home, Andy enjoys taking care of our yard and our goldfish pond. He is also willing to help cook, clean or do laundry on his days off. Andy especially likes picking Brianna up after school on the days she comes to our house.

About Brianna
Brianna brings laughter and excitement into our home. She is an active eight year old and is in third grade. Brianna enjoys playing soccer and taking art classes.

At church, Brianna helps in the nursery and looking forward to being a big sister!

Our Faith
At church we serve on the children’s third grade-and-under committee. We also attend Sunday school regularly and together we teach a Discipleship Training class for children first-sixth grade. As a family, we are active in worship and fellowship activities. Andy volunteers with the church food pantry service and Jennifer is a director for Vacation Bible School.

Our Home
We live in a neighborhood in Northeast Mississippi. We have a nice fenced backyard where our two cats, Patches and Sylvester, like to run and play. We also have several goldfish and koi in a small goldfish pond.

Our house is less than six years old and has three bedrooms and two baths, a large living room and large kitchen, a formal dining room and a sunroom. We enjoy our home and we make it comfortable for ourselves and our guests.

Our Family
We have close families who are super-supportive of us and are thrilled that we are adopting. Our parents, grandparents and siblings all live within 30 miles of our home. We enjoy meals together, especially for birthdays! We are gracious that Jennifer’s mom will retire from teaching and be our in-home babysitter.

We promise to love your child unconditionally. We will share with our child that he or she is adopted and will make certain to send you letters and photos if you wish.
