We will raise your child to have respect for him or herself as an individual and as a precious member or our family.

In A Nutshell
Our story began when we met and fell in love in high school 16 years ago! We are best friends and soul mates. We cannot imagine our lives without each other.  We married shortly after high school and began paving the way for our future.

We began our professional careers, bought a home, and enjoy traveling abroad and on weekend trips.  We enjoy taking walks, working out together, going for bike rides, an occasional run outside, going to zoos and sporting events, and shopping together.  We enjoy our lives together and are ready to share our love and stability with a child.

We have learned so much about each other over the years and we are ready and excited to adopt our first child. We went through infertility and feel it was God’s plan that we raise children through adoption.  We hope to continue to learn and grow in God’s likeness and see His beauty through a child’s eyes. 

My Wife, Mary
Mary is a strong-willed, driven woman with a head on her shoulders and a successful career as a pharmacist. She has endless patience with me and those she loves.  She can brighten the darkest of rooms with her hearty laughter or playful banter. Mary is truly an eternal optimist and reminds me to always try to see God in others even though it’s not always easy. 

Mary enjoys her time spent with friends watching movies and going to lunch. She loves sunsets, music, reading, and ALL animals.  She believes that God has a plan for everything. I love her for who she is but more importantly, for the man she has helped me to become.  She is warm, caring, nurturing and loving. She will be an amazing mother!

My Husband, Andy
Andy is very active and passionate. He is the exercise area director of a health club and enjoys working out, shopping, sports, and pretty much anything that keeps him moving. He treats me like I am the only woman on this planet. I could not have asked God for a better person to share the rest of my life with.

Andy is witty and can make me laugh like no one else. There is no one I’d rather spend my time with than him!  He is protective and loyal to a fault. He takes his role of being a husband very seriously and I know that if he has the opportunity to be a daddy, he will dote on your child endlessly, like he does with me!

Our Home and Those
Who Surround Us
We live in a cozy, newly-built four bedroom home in a quiet neighborhood in Iowa. We are fortunate to have wonderful neighbors who have become friends.  Our community is culturally diverse and there are two other adoptive families on our street.

Our subdivision is located away from heavy traffic, near schools and churches. It is not uncommon in the spring and summer to see at families outside playing together. We have recently started an annual college football party when rival teams are playing, which is a great time together.  

Our Vow To Your Child
We vow to commit our love to your child from the moment you trust him or her to us. Your child will be dear to our hearts forever. We will pray with your child and keep you in our prayers. 

We will raise your child to be a loving, caring, compassionate, and responsible person who can enjoy life’s little pleasures.  We will always be there as parents for guidance, support and encouragement. We promise to be affectionate and celebrate your child’s life through ups and downs.

We will give your child every opportunity to pursue his or her dreams and we will encourage a college education. We will share God’s love and we will let your child know how much we love them and how special you are to us for helping to bring us all together through adoption.
