Dear Birthmother,

Thank you for considering us as potential parents of your child.  Through our strong Christian faith, we believe God desires us to adopt our first child.  Prayer has helped us many times in our lives when we have needed to make important decisions.  Whatever decision you make, we offer our prayers for your health and for peace in your heart.

First and foremost, please know that we will raise your child to understand how truly special they are.  As you read our letter and learn more about us, we hope you’ll feel more comfortable with us, and choose to speak with us by phone or email. 

About Us
We met in church when we were both living in San Diego.  After a couple of years, we were married and moved to Northern California to be closer to family.  We bought our first home and began to work towards start a family.  We soon learned however that it was not going to happen biologically.

We have now been married for five years and enjoy traveling together and with our family.  Our traveling preferences include camping, beach resorts and city explorations.  Some of the big trips we have taken are to Hawaii, New York, Boston and the Caribbean.  Weekend getaway trips to Lake Tahoe and the California coast are also cherished.

When we are at home, we love to hang out with friends, attend Bible studies, host parties, watch movies, and just relax.  We look forward to sharing our lives with our future child.

My Beloved Husband, Antoine
Antoine is my gift from God.  I waited many years for the right husband, and Antoine is perfect for me!  I was attracted to his outgoing and loving nature that I saw him display at church, but I fell in love with his love and passion for God and His word.

As a project manager for a large health insurance company, he receives great benefits, time off and a flexible work schedule.  He is even able to work from home if needed.  He is a great leader at work, church and home. 

Antoine will be a great father with his youthful personality.  He loves to play and watch all types of sports (football, baseball, basketball, and golf).  He also enjoys dancing, cooking, karaoke, and video games.  He is looking forward to teaching and sharing these activities with his child.

My Loving Wife, Jennifer
Jennifer is my best friend, the love of my life and has been a blessing from God since the first time we met.  The thing I’m attracted to most is Jennifer’s love for God and the Bible, and her commitment to serving the Lord.

Jennifer is outgoing, intelligent, adventurous, loving, caring, and excellent with children.  She enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, swimming, camping and gardening.  Jennifer has the gift of hospitality and loves to organize and host gatherings with friends and family.

Jennifer will be an excellent mother because she has a natural gift for loving and caring for children.  All of our nieces and nephews love to be with her and look forward to seeing their Auntie Jennifer.  I’m looking forward to raising a child with Jennifer and know that with God’s grace and Jennifer’s love, our family will be blessed.

Our Home & Family
Our home in Northern California is a two story, three bedroom house that is part of a new community.  There are three parks with a new preschool and elementary school within a five minute walk.  There are several families in our neighborhood with small children.  We currently share our home with our two lovable cats, Naomi and Tamar.

We live close to both our families, and we visit them often.  Antoine’s family includes his mother, step father and his brother who is married with three wonderful young children.  Jennifer’s family includes both parents and two brothers.  Her older brother is currently in the process of adopting their second son.
