Dear Birthmother,

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about us.  We are Bill and Michāēl, an outgoing, active, loving and close-knit couple excited about adding to our family through adoption.  We could not imagine being more blessed then to bring a child into our home. 

We have been together for seven years and have been married for the last four.  From the first time we met we knew each other was “the one”. During these past four years we have been trying to conceive through infertility treatments and are now ready to start our family through adoption. We feel that adoption is the path God has planned out for us.  We have a home full of love that is just waiting to have a child’s laughter echo the rooms. 

About Us…
We both love the outdoors; we both grew up camping with our families and friends and have plans to continue that tradition. Bill loves working in the garage on his ATV, motorcycle and any other little project he can find around the house.  Michāēl loves working in the yard, scrapbooking and taking care of the house. We both love football and love having friends over to watch games. Bill played football, wrestled and fenced in high school and Michāēl played softball.  Through sports, we both learned the value of teamwork and dedication and have carried those traits into our everyday lives.  Our favorite times of the year are winter and spring.  We love the snow and anticipate the day where there will be snowmen and snow angels in the backyard. 

My Wife Michāēl…
There are few words that best describe my wife Michāēl.  The ones that come to mind are: loving, caring and patient.  Michāēl loves the outdoors and is very creative.  Whether it be planting flowers in the garden, scrapbooking or even painting a room, she finds the most creative way to accomplish the task.  She is a good-hearted person who would do anything for anybody whether she has known them for a month or years.  She will make a great mother and I couldn’t imagine spending my life with anyone else.  

My Husband Bill…
I met my husband on a blind date and we have been inseparable ever since.  Bill is the most loving and caring person I know.  He is smart, funny, kind, patient, strong and calm.  He has an unconditional love that is inspiring and his loving and caring personality is what attracted me to him the most.  He is very good with his hands and can fix almost anything. 

He loves his career as an A/C and Refrigeration Technician because it is constantly allowing him to learn new things and grow.  He faces any challenge with sheer determination and sets his goals high.  He is funny and can make anyone laugh with even the corniest joke.  He loves to take road trips, see new places and meet new people.  He is so loving and caring with our friend’s children and I know he will make an excellent father.

Our Home and Community…
Our home is located in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood in Northern Utah.  It is a three bedroom and one bathroom home that was built in 1911 and recently remodeled.  It has a mature apple and pear tree in the backyard as well as a vegetable and flower garden. 

We are within walking or biking distance to many parks and schools both private and public.  We also belong to the local athletic club that offers swimming and tennis lessons and well as youth group activities.
