Dear Birthmother,
Hi! We are a fun-loving Christian family who can’t wait to welcome another child into our hearts and our life. We love traveling, enjoying the outdoors, and spending time with family and friends. Thank you for taking your time to read our letter. You are in our thoughts and prayers as you decide what is best for you and your child.
Our Story
We met during high school and quickly became best friends. We’ve been married 18 awesome years. We have been blessed with our son, Robert, and we are a strong, close, loving family.
Due to infertility, we have considered adoption for some time and are ecstatic that God is leading us down this path.
We believe that education is important in the lives of our children. We always have family dinners together. We own a travel trailer and love to go camping whenever we can and take at least one vacation a year. We enjoy spending time at the lake, zoo, or park, playing in the backyard, watching a parade, or simply watching a movie or playing board games. We are a happy family, often laughing and always smiling. We look forward to sharing our lives with your child and to knowing what hopes you would have for your child’s life as well.
Our Family
Becky is a wonderful and caring mother, always putting family first, but also helping others in need. Becky holds a Master’s degree in elementary education and has taught kindergarten through the fourth grade and is currently a full-time mom.
Becky loves being around children and is always ready to tell stories or read books. She is active in our church and also does a lot of volunteer work. Becky’s hobbies are reading, traveling, entertaining, camping, gardening, and spending quality time with family and friends.
Brian has such a sense of humor. He is a very thoughtful, caring husband and such a loving and involved dad. Brian participated in changing diapers, nighttime feedings, and cuddling with Robert as a baby, and they enjoy reading, playing baseball, saying prayers, tucking him in at bedtime, and still cuddling at quiet times.
Brian holds a Master’s degree in aviation and proudly serves as a pilot in the U. S. Air Force, but he has never let his job come before his family and is an active member of our church. He loves to cook, read, watch movies, work on the cars, and look at the stars and planets with his telescope.
Robert is four years old and attends swimming lessons, library story time, children’s choir at church, gymnastics, and music classes. He loves playing with his many friends, cousins, and us, and is excited to have a brother or sister. His best friend‘s family just adopted and Robert tells us he wants to adopt lots of brothers and sisters.
Our Lifestyle
We live in a three bedroom brick home, in a safe, secure neighborhood in Oklahoma. We have one room already set up as the nursery, waiting for that special baby. Many of our neighbors are young families, and the elementary school is only a short walk from our home. There are playgrounds all around us.
Our backyard is fenced, with a swing set, trampoline, and sandbox. We have two gentle, sweet dogs and two cats. They are so good with Robert, and he often tells them how much he loves each one.
We are blessed to have our extended family close and enjoy getting together, especially at holidays. Becky has two sisters and one brother, Brian has one sister, and Robert has six cousins so far, including one who was adopted.
Our Eternal Pledge to
You and Your Child
We truly believe God has led us to adoption. We look forward to welcoming another child to our loving, encouraging, and open family. We are blessed to be financially able to provide many opportunities for your child now, and in the future. Your child will receive unconditional love, encouragement, and support to allow him or her to fulfill any dreams. Our friends and family are also eager and supportive of our decision to adopt. If you desire, we would love to exchange letters and pictures with you and are open to possible visits as well. Thank you for reading about our family.
Our thoughts and prayers are always with you, and we look forward to talking with you.
