Dear Birthmother,
We met in high school and have been inseparable ever since. Together we have seen our way through all of life’s challenges, emerging each time stronger as a couple and family.
We treasure our time as a family and enjoy doing many activities together. Bicycle-riding, nature walks, gardening, and snow skiing are the things we like to do.
Family and friends are a very important part of our lives. We vacation annually to Michigan in the summer, where we have extended family. Days are spent on the beach playing in the water looking for shells. Nights include bonfires and s’mores. We look forward to sharing these experiences with your child and hope you feel comfortable getting to know us.
About Brian
Brian is a loving and caring husband and a wonderful provider for our family. He is hardworking and a dedicated Air Force officer who loves serving his country. Brian enjoys playing sports, particularly baseball. Kids gravitate toward him because he is so fun-loving and full of energy. It’s not uncommon for the neighborhood children to knock on our door and ask if Theo and Brian can come out to play! Brian is a fantastic father to Theo; I know he has a lot of love to give your baby as well.
About Camisha
The first time I saw Camisha, I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with her. That was nearly 20 years ago, and I still feel the same way today! Camisha has a unique spirit that immediately draws people to her. She truly represents everything that is wonderful about our marriage and our family. Her patience, understanding, compassion, and energy are all contagious.
Our favorite treat is to partake in Camisha’s special talent as a baker and cake decorator. You name it, she can bake it and it’s always so good! She has chosen to be a full-time, stay-at –home mom for Theo. I have absolutely no doubt your child would receive the same level of commitment and love from my wife.
About Theo
Theo is the apple of our eye, a bright and cheerful 6-year-old little boy. He is in the 1 st grade and enjoys playing baseball, riding his bike and Legos. He loves to swim in our pool and swears he has fins for hands! Both he and Brian have contests to see who can do the best cannonball. Theo enjoys taking our dog Lincoln for walks to the park. Theo very much wants a little brother or sister and is excited to assume the role of “big brother.”
Our Families
We enjoy close relationships with our families. Adoption has a special meaning in our family as Brian’s youngest sister was adopted. Holidays always mean full houses, but we wouldn’t have it any other way! There is always lots of food, fun, laughter and stories when we get together. Our parents are great people and are looking forward to another grandchild. Your baby will be embraced and loved unconditionally by many aunts, uncles, cousins and even great-grandparents too.
Our Home & Community
We live in a culturally diverse community in northern California. Our home has five bedrooms with a fenced backyard and plenty of toys to play with. We also have a pool with safety gate. Our neighborhood is surrounded by rolling hills with numerous trails for walking and biking. We are only a couple of blocks away from the elementary school, great parks and library. We have wonderful neighbors in our cul-de-sac—everyone looks out for one another.
