Dear Birthmother,
With great excitement we extend a heartfelt hello to you. We are looking forward to the privilege of becoming parents through adoption and cannot wait to share our life with a child. We thank you for taking the time to learn a little bit about us and giving us consideration while you search for an adoptive family that you feel is best for you and your baby.
About Us
We have been married for four years, together for five. We met training for triathlons in support of a cancer charity. Our enjoyment of our life together can be seen in all that we do. From having dinner to training for triathlons to just watching a movie, we always look forward to our time together. We also enjoy traveling, having visited several U.S. cities, Europe, Mexico, the Bahamas and all the islands of Hawaii.
While we both work, we do have very flexible schedules and generous vacation time. Julie is even able to work from home.
We have struggled with infertility and decided that we no longer wanted to pursue treatment; however the yearning in our hearts to be parents is stronger than ever. We believe that adoption is the path that was chosen for us to welcome a child into our lives.
About Brian by Julie
The inscription on the inside of Brian’s wedding ring describes my feelings for him perfectly; “My one true love.” When I first got to know Brian, his sense of humor and southern charm are what drew me into the friendship. His kindness, respect and big heart are what made me fall in love.
Brian is going to make such a wonderful father. Brian loved his upbringing and is eager to share those same family activities with his children. I am very proud and thankful to be married to Brian. He is a wonderful husband, loving son, and loyal friend.
About Julie by Brian
The thing I like most about my wife is she makes our life together a complete joy. From the tiniest details in setting up our home to making plans for big events, she always makes our life comfortable.
Julie is such a nurturing and compassionate person. She is going to make an awesome mom. I feel very fortunate to have Julie as my wife.
Introducing Punk
Punk is our dog whom Julie rescued when he was just five weeks old. He has been our faithful running partner, couch snuggler and family clown ever since.
Punk loves people and is especially fond of children. He is quite a hit with the neighborhood kids!
Our Families
We are both very close to our families. Our parents and siblings are a great source of love and support for us. We e-mail or talk to them several times a week. We also get together frequently for vacations, family events, summer barbecues, and the holidays.
The news of our adoption plans has brought excitement to the entire family.
Our Home
We own a comfortable three bedroom, two bathroom home in Southern California. We have brought our love of the tropics into our home to create a very warm, welcoming and relaxing environment.
We live near several parks, schools, walking trails and major shopping centers. Our home is located just miles from many beaches, the zoo, amusement parks and the airport.
Our Promise
We promise to love your child unconditionally. It is our intention to provide a stable, loving, Christian home complete with the support and encouragement for your child to become who he or she desires.
We will honor your child’s adoption story and are open to sharing letters, photos and possibly visits if you wish. To learn more about us or to speak with us please call Lifetime Adoption at
