Dear Birthmother,

Hi! We are a Christian couple who have been happily married for nine years and are excited about adopting our first child. Rebecca will be a stay-at-home mom, and Bryan’s job leaves him with plenty of time to spend with family. We are eagerly waiting for the day we will meet the child God has planned for us.

Our Lives Together...
Our home is built on mutual trust, understanding, and a relationship with God. Family is very important to us. Our favorite vacation place is the Pacific Ocean and the surrounding redwoods. We spend a lot of time with our close friends and enjoy going on trips with them.

Our dearest dream is to have a family. We dealt with infertility seven years ago, and knew that someday we would adopt. We can’t wait to begin our family.

About Bryan...
Bryan is a very caring and gentle person. He tells me often how much he loves me. I know I can trust him unconditionally.

Bryan enjoys many outdoor activities like hiking, biking, camping, swimming, and ocean kayaking. He is a talented and creative woodworker. He loves working in construction and installs flooring at his job. It is very important to him that a job is done right.

Bryan has always been a very involved parent, rocking children to sleep, helping with their baths, and playing with them.  He has already proven what a good daddy he is, and I can’t wait for him to experience the joy that adoption will bring to our family.

About Rebecca...
Rebecca is not only my loving wife but my best friend. She is genuinely kind and caring, and her smile, laughter and sense of humor are enjoyed by every one. Rebecca is a strong person and always looks on the bright side of life. She is neat and organized in every thing she does. Some of the things Rebecca loves to do are sew, scrapbook, take walks, hike, swim, and read.

All her life, Rebecca has wanted to be a mother, and she is a natural at it. She is very much of a “hands-on” mother, and loves to cuddle and rock her babies, play with them, and kiss away their hurts. Any child we adopt will be blessed with the limitless love she has to offer.

Our Home...
We live in a three bedroom home with a large fenced backyard in a friendly, small-town community of central Kansas. We have a Beagle puppy named Charlie. Our house is within walking distance of the park. We are looking forward to decorating the nursery for a boy or girl.

Family and Friends...
Our family and friends are very supportive of us in our decision to adopt. We have many family members, and dear friends who have been adopted, so this is close to all of our hearts. We also have a wonderfully supportive church family. Everyone is looking forward to welcoming a new little one into our lives and home.

Rebecca has two sisters and two brothers and three nieces and one nephew. Most of them live in Northern California. My grandparents, who live only a couple of miles from us, are also a very special part of our family.

Bryan’s mother lives only four and a half hours from us, so we see her often. We love to go on trips to visit our families and have many treasured memories of times spent together.
