Hi,

Thank you for taking the time to get to know us! There’s so much we want to share with you. Family is the most important thing in the world to us, and we can’t wait to bring a child into our lives.

About Us
We met in college eleven years ago, and quickly became best friends. It didn’t take long to realize that we were a perfect match! After we were married in 2001, we took several years to ensure we were emotionally, financially, and spiritually ready to have a baby. After unsuccessful fertility treatments, we believe that we were meant to adopt. We are so excited!

We have a very strong marriage and love to be around each other. We both love learning new things and sharing them with each other. You will hear one of us shouting, “Hey honey! Come look at this!” at least once a day. We have a great time entertaining our friends and family, volunteering, walking our dog at the park, working on projects around the house, and occasionally just vegging out at home.

About Chad
Chad is amazing! He is the most caring, loving, brilliant person I know. He is a great listener, and he is the kind of guy that everyone can count on. Children are really drawn to Chad, and he is always the first one to get down on the floor to play. He is a natural teacher and loves to explain everything from rainbows to how the air conditioner works to our young friends.

Chad has a wonderful and flexible job that allows him to spend plenty of time with his family. He often works from home, and he looks forward to being a semi-stay-at-home dad. He is a fantastic chef and baker, preparing delicious meals and incredible cakes. It’s a great (and delicious!) hobby.

Chad is also an avid photographer, and we have decorated our home with many of his prints. He is also a huge baseball fan, and can’t wait to teach our child – boy or girl – to play!

About Annie
Annie is the most genuine person I have ever met. She is incredibly smart, perfectly sincere, and whole-heartedly loving. From the moment I met her, I knew I had found a life-long companion. Among her friends, Annie is the rock; everyone looks to her for guidance.

At work, Annie is a wonderful, compassionate physician. She went into medicine because she deeply cares about people. She is a born caretaker, and it really makes her happy to make people around her feel comforted and loved. She chose her field in medicine largely because it is a very family-friendly field, allowing her plenty of time off to be with me and our future kids. She always demonstrates that her family is her first priority.

Annie is very special to me. But more importantly, she will be an amazing mom and a great role model to our son or daughter. I look forward to seeing her transition from knitting scarves for me to knitting booties for our first child.

Our Home
Our house is a cozy three-bedroom home with a yard. Our neighborhood is filled with tree-lined streets and is just blocks away from more than a dozen museums, the zoo, and a giant park complete with three playgrounds, a duck pond with paddleboats, and a train.

Holly is our dog who has been part of our family since shortly after we were married. She is very sweet-tempered and very gentle with children. She loves to take walks in the park almost as much as we do.
