Dear Birthmother,

We are thrilled to be able to tell you about ourselves. We met about 10 years ago. Our friendship eventually turned into a relationship and we have been married for eight years now.

After struggling with infertility and praying, it became clear to us that adoption was the path that we were meant to take. When we met two-year-old Andrew there was no doubt in our minds or hearts that this was how God intended our family to come to be.

About Us
We live in the country with acres of room to roam and play. It is a beautiful and safe environment to raise a family. We enjoy spending time outside gardening and landscaping. We also love spending time with the mini zoo we have collected. We have a horse, a goat, a donkey, four sheep, chickens, two cats, two birds, and a big lovable yellow lab.

Family weekends are always fun. Whether we are playing tennis, going to a movie, or a walk beside the river, we are together. Our philosophy as parents is to have firm but fair rules, to always seek first to understand, and to never let a day go by without telling our children, and each other, how much we love them. 
 
About Chad by Deanna
Chad is very funny and can always make me laugh. Chad is also a project person. Once he gets an idea in his head he mulls it over and over until he has the best plan and then he follows through and makes it happen.

When it comes to being a dad I can truly say I haven’t seen any better than Chad. He takes an active role in Andrew’s daily life. Chad picks Andrew up from school every day and they talk about their days and they do little projects together. They both love to go fishing, biking, and running together. When Chad does repairs or remodeling projects around the house Andrew goes with him. Andrew and I are both very lucky to have Chad and we both love him very much.
 
About Deanna by Chad
Deanna makes our family happy; she allows us to dream big and be creative without restriction. She can see the result and the total picture. I on the other hand like planning and work. Deanna is very creative and is always finding crafts and projects to do with our son. She is able to make planting flowers or doing homework a fun event. As a mother, Deanna loves to spend time with our son Andrew and they have a great bond together.  
 
About Andrew
Andrew is caring of others and shows genuine concern for the feelings and welfare of people whether he knows them or not.

One of the most common things we hear is how polite and friendly he is. It is not unusual at all for him to strike up a conversation with people he sees at stores or restaurants or wherever we happen to be. Andrew loves swimming, running, and is involved in the school’s wrestling club.

We promise to support them on the journeys they choose to take in life. We promise to pick them up when they fall and to encourage them to try again.
