Hi, we are Chad and Maranda.  We live in Pennsylvania and have a big Christian family.  We love being parents and we know that God has put adoption in His plan for us.  We would love an opportunity to know you and your baby, should that be your desire.  We appreciate you taking the time to learn about us.

About Us
We met in our last year of college and we knew we were suited to each other.  We have been married over 13 years and still love to spend time together.

Chad is a pastor and computer technician and Maranda is a stay-at-home mom.  We have a lot of time to focus on our children.  We always knew we wanted a large family, and want our lives built around our family and our church.  We have eight children, six of which still live at home.   We adopted 5 of our children and have cherished getting to love each of our kids.  Our children are very close siblings and are excited about bringing another child into our family.  We are excited to continue building our family through adoption.

About Chad
Chad’s sense of humor always keeps things interesting. Our dinner table is always fun and new with his jokes and pranks. My husband loves reading, exercise, swimming, politics, philosophy, music, playing guitar, and working on computers.  He has volunteered in hospitals, prisons and nursing homes, preaching and counseling. 

I am very proud of his integrity even in hard situations, and his heart for others.  He is a patient teacher, friend and father.  I respect Chad and appreciate his love and support.

About Maranda
Maranda is very spontaneous and creative, showing hospitality to others.  She enjoys cooking, cleaning and providing meals for her family and visitors.   Maranda strongly believes that God values every person, and she values everyone as well.  She continues to be an inspiration to every one around her. She volunteered as a youth director for over five years, taking the teens on Mission trips and holding weekly activities.  She enjoys teaching, reading, shopping, time with friends and family, eating healthy and exercise.   From the day I proposed to her on a park bench near our college, she has continued to amaze me as a wife and mother.

Our Children
We are a very close family.  We play together, work together, and believe in each other.  We value and love each other even if we do not always agree.  We believe God has blessed us with each one of our children, and that He works out His plans for our family. 

All of our children bring a special quality to our family and we enjoy helping them discover their dreams.  Your child will not only have our unconditional love and attention, but the support and encouragement from fun and loving siblings.  People sometimes seem amazed that we continue to build our family, but as parents we celebrate our kids’ individuality and couldn’t imagine our lives without each of them.  We look forward to including your child in our family and helping him or her become the person he or she hopes to be.

Our Home
Our home in Pennsylvania has 16 rooms and our yard is two-thirds of an acre in a small family community. 

On weekends we are out on the two story back deck grilling while the kids play on the trampoline, swing set or basketball hoop.  There is also several large shade trees, some great for climbing.

Our Promise
We will look after your child with love, asking God to guide us and allow us to lead by example.  We will help him or her develop a tender heart with compassion for others, and an openness to love deeply.  We do value education, and will help your child go to college, if they choose.  We will support him or her emotionally, spiritually and financially.  We promise to let your child know how special and valued he or she is, and we will help him or her to be secure as an individual.
