Adoptive parents, Chris and Gail

Dear Birthmother,

Hello! We are Chris and Gail and we want to thank you for allowing us to introduce ourselves and tell you about our family.  We have been married for 10 years and after four years of trying to have children, we were excited to adopt our son Will.  We have never been happier than we are now as parents…as a family.  We can hardly wait to adopt another child into our family and our son is thrilled to become a big brother.

Chris and Gail enjoy vacationing, visiting with friends and relatives, seeing movies and dining out together as both a couple and a familyAbout Us
We always felt that God had a plan for us to start our family and we were honored to be chosen by Will’s birthparents to adopt him. We know adoption is what God had in mind for our family and we are looking forward to growing our family through adoption.

Adoption has been such a blessing to our family and we’d love to share our experience with adoption, with you personally, to help you decide if we are the right family for your child.

Chris and Gail already have a room next to theirs designated for the nursery so that he or she will be snuggled closeOur Home and Neighborhood
We live in the friendly state of Mississippi in a cozy new home that has four bedrooms and two bathrooms and a big backyard with a wooden playset for the kids to play on.  There are many families in our neighborhood. The school district we are in is one of the best in the state with new schools built close to our neighborhood.

Gail always takes time to show love for her family and values faith, family and friendship the most in lifeAll About Gail
Gail is a loving, caring wife and mother. She is not only my wife but also my best friend. From the time we met, I could tell she was a patient and kind person. It was her personality that drew me to her. It amazes me that she can still make me smile even when I have a bad day.

Gail was born and raised in a small town in Canada and moved to the U.S. 13 years ago. She was the first person in her family to graduate college when she became a registered nurse. She also holds dual-citizenship, as does our son and your child will too. Gail has many friends and relatives remaining in Canada and we visit often. Gail enjoys scrapbooking reading, traveling and shopping for her family and home.

She is currently working as a public health nurse and finds it to be very rewarding, especially in her work with the homeless and underprivileged. Gail stayed home with Will until he was three and hopes to do the same with the newest member of our family too but her current position has flexible hours allowing her more time to spend with her family.

You can usually find Chris working in the yard or around the house or grilling if it’s close to suppertimeAbout Chris
Chris is a very attentive dad and works hard to provide for his family. He enjoys computers, movies, reading, music, and traveling.  Chris is a very loving husband and father and shows his affection for his family every chance he gets.

Chris grew up in Louisiana with his parents and sisters. He obtained a Bachelor’s degree and has worked in transportation for 15 years. Chris works evenings, and is a stay-at-home dad in the daytime.

Will enjoys swimming, drawing and reading, as well as trips to the zoo and park About Will
Will is a happy, healthy six year old who became part of our family through the gift of adoption. We keep in contact with Will’s birthparents through photos, cards, emails, visits and calls, as was their wish when we adopted him.

Our Extended Family
Our friends and family have shown tremendous support of our decision to adopt again.  We have three nephews and a niece that we are very involved with and Will is very close with his cousins. Everyone is thrilled about having a new baby to love.

Our Faith
We attend a large Baptist church with many activities for children of all ages. We both grew up attending church and will instill the same Christian faith and morals in our family that we learned as children.

Chris and Gail promise to provide a home filled with laughter, hugs, encouragement and unconditional loveOur Commitment to You
We would love to learn what your hopes are for your child’s adoption. Adoption is not a secret in our home and we will share with your child his or her special adoption story and how your loving gift made us a family. We are open to sending photos and emails as well as visiting when you are ready. We want you to be comfortable with us, as you will become part of our extended family. We will raise your child with values and all our love.

We thank you for taking the time to read our letter and pray that God leads you to the right family for you and your baby. Please contact Lifetime Adoption at 1-800-923-6784 to learn more about us.
