Dear Birthmother,

We are Morgan and Chris and we thank you for taking this opportunity to learn about us.  We have talked about building our family for the past few years and are excited about becoming parents through adoption. We are a committed, fun loving and educated couple that look forward to offering our hearts and love to your child.

About Us          
We met working for the same company and are thrilled to celebrate our tenth anniversary this year!  Our friends thought we’d make a perfect pair and we couldn’t agree more. We look forward to experiencing the joys of parenthood and raising your child with the unconditional love and support that we have together.

We are fun-loving and enjoy going on trips or just having a quiet day at home.  We love planning trips to find lighthouses to explore. Vacations and traveling are a family tradition and we look forward to passing this along to our children. Our family currently consists of us and our two small dogs (Rosie and Gracie) who are great with children.

About Morgan      
Morgan is an outgoing person that is very devoted to her family and friends.  She is a hit with children, including our nieces and nephews.  In fact, in each of the houses that we have lived in since we got married she has made sure that we have enough toys and books to entertain any children that come over to the house. We are pretty well stocked up for your child!

Family and staying connected is very important to Morgan. Her brother lives in another state with his family that includes a niece and nephew who we try to see at least a few times a year. Her parents live close by so we are able to get together with them often and I can’t say how happy they would be to have the opportunity to welcome another grandchild into their life.

Morgan’s mother passed down a love for antiques and I know that Morgan is looking forward to being able to share this with our child. She continues to search for kokeshi dolls and hopes that it may turn into a trip to Japan or China some day to learn more about the culture first hand. 

About Chris        
Chris is a great husband and has been my best friend from the day we met.  His family includes his parents, sisters and their families along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews just to name a few.  When given the opportunity, his mother loves to take her grandchildren hiking and teach them about the outdoors. Chris also likes to get out to mountain bike and hike.

I call Chris my “Mr. Gadget” because he has always enjoyed rebuilding a computer or looking at what new tech items are out that will make things run faster or that just have new bells and whistles. His favorite pastime the last few years, besides reading, has been going to fly RC/model airplanes at one of the local flying fields with one of our best friends.  Whether we welcome a son or daughter into the family I know he is looking forward to being able to share his love for planes with them.

Our Home                    
Our house in Alabama is a four bedroom, two bath, single-story home located in a quiet neighborhood that is close by to everything one would need. We are close to good restaurants, shopping and of course the grandparents and good friends.  Both of our families are very supportive of our plans to adopt and can’t wait for there to be another member of the family.                                            

In Closing
We want to say how excited we are to enter into a new journey of our life called parenthood. We will provide a loving and nurturing environment for your child to grow up in with there to be many adventures on the way.  We also will make sure that your child will grow up knowing that we were brought together through adoption and how special you are to our family.
