Hi, we are Clay and Angie! We met in high school 11 years ago and have been inseparable ever since. We were married young and had our daughter, Claire. We married each other over nine years ago and have been honoring that commitment ever since. Together we have seen our way through all the ups and downs any marriage encounters and have come out stronger for them. Actually, we thank God for those times because not only does it make us closer to each other, it also makes us closer to God.

We cherish our time together as a family and enjoy doing many activities together. We are fortunate to live in southern California and take advantage of many outdoor adventures such as camping, fishing, hiking, and going to the beach. Starting our lives together at a young age has allowed us to grow together. We have had the time to create a stable and secure life for us, for Claire, and for any children we are blessed with through adoption.

Angie, Written by Clay
I am blessed to be married to Angie; there is so much to say about her. She is a loving person with family and friends, and is always trying to help others when they need it. She is a very kind and caring person. She is my best friend and true love. Angie is a very hard worker and does every thing to its fullest. Angie is a wonderful mother to our 8 year old daughter, and makes sure she excels in school, sports and her goals in life. Because Angie works for a college, her work schedule allows her to have summers, spring break, winter break, plus the month of January, and every Friday off. She spends as much time as possible with Claire and they have developed a special relationship because of it. They love to get their nails and toes painted, reading together on the couch, and going to the tide pools by the ocean. Not only is she very devoted to our daughter but also to nieces and nephews that are throughout both sides of our families. Angie loves to spoil and "love on them" every chance she gets! She enjoys working out, hiking, camping, fishing, and is learning how to surf.

Clay, Written by Angie
Clay is a lovable, strong man. He is my rock, and the love of my life. He loves his family and supports us through his career as a welder. He loves spending time with our daughter Claire, by playing tennis, swimming with her, working on school projects, and teaching her his "wrestling moves." When bedtime comes around every night he waits to hear her little voice call downstairs to be tucked in. It has become his anticipated evening ritual to read with her, pray with her and tuck her in. He is very creative, and is a wonderful artist. He plays the saxophone, and would like to learn to play other instruments as well. He also cooks a "mean" barbeque. Clay enjoys multiple outdoor activities such as camping, playing baseball, and golf. He also loves watching movies, listening to music, and going to concerts.

About Claire
Claire is a fun loving, playful, and an enthusiastic young lady. She loves math, and enjoys swimming, playing "wall ball", and loves classical music. Claire loves her cat Jackson, and enjoys our extended family's pets. When she grows up she wants to be a veterinarian and live in the mountains. She is the oldest cousin on both sides of our family; she loves to help care for the younger cousins when we visit. Claire also enjoys going to see ballet performances, various musicals, and plays. Her favorite trip this year has been to the symphony, where she was able to learn about the different instruments. Claire is very excited to add to our family through adoption, and can't wait to be "the big sister"!
