Dear Birthmother,

We are a bi-racial family and we hope that in reading more about us, you will learn that we are a loving couple offering a loving and nurturing environment.  Thank you for taking the time to read our letter and consider us as you search for a loving home for your child.  We have always dreamt of being parents and since we struggled with infertility, we knew in our hearts that adoption was the right choice for us.  We cannot wait to be blessed with the adoption of our first child. 

About Us
We live in a large city in the Midwest.  We met in our first years of college and have been together for almost 19 years and married for more than 10. 

We both enjoy hanging out with friends, going out to dinner, going to the movies, playing board games and card games, and hosting cookouts with family and friends.

About Amy:
Amy is my life, my love, and my best friend.  She has a big heart and a giving nature.  She always has time to volunteer or give her time to whatever or whoever needs her. Amy loves to read, scrapbook, shop, play games, talk to her sister on the phone and spend time with our dogs.  Out of all her hobbies, I believe her favorite is talking with her sister.  They are very close and talk to each other every day.  I know with this adoption, she and her sister will talk even more, sharing stories about their children.  I know Amy will make an outstanding mom because of her love and dedication to our family.

Amy has always been highly motivated and a very driven person.  She has worked for the same insurance company for the last 16 years.  She started as an entry-level secretary and has worked her way through the ranks as an analyst.  While working her way up the ladder, Amy completed her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at a local university and graduated with honors.

Because of all these qualities in Amy, it is a blessing to know that when we receive our child, that she will be a loving, nurturing, and caring mother.

About Cosie:
Cosie is the love of my life and a wonderful husband.  He is a strong man with a sweet and gentle heart.  He is devoted to our family and is very caring and loving.  I was drawn to all of these characteristics about him but mostly his incredible sense of humor.  He makes me and everyone around him laugh everyday.  He is always the life of the party.

Cosie is a Construction Supervisor and loves his job.  He has been with the same company for 16 years and has climbed the ladder of his success. 

Cosie enjoys doing yard work and home improvement projects, but also takes time out for fun.  He likes to play golf, softball, football, and since he is a kid at heart, he likes to play video games.  He loves a challenge but he also will play games of any age so that even the youngest member of our family can enjoy the games too.

Cosie has so many wonderful qualities to offer a child and I know that he will be an amazing father.
 
Our Home:
Our house is one and a half stories with three bedrooms, a living room, kitchen, dining room and a large fenced-in backyard where we hope to have a large swing set along with many yard games.  We have a double deck off of the back of our house where we enjoy sitting, visiting with friends and neighbors, grilling and playing ball with our dogs, Bailey and CJ.
