Aloha!  We are Craig and Jennifer and live in the beautiful state of Hawaii (we like to consider it our slice of paradise!) We are very energetic, fun, compassionate, creative people from very diverse backgrounds and are ecstatic of the opportunity to become first-time parents through adoption!

About Us
We have been together for over 12 years and happily married for over five years.  We ARE best friends!  Our love is based on mutual respect, friendship and an overall solid and loving marriage.  We seize every opportunity at living life to the fullest and are looking forward to creating new memories with your child.

We come from very diverse backgrounds.  Jennifer is bi-racial (African-American and German) and was raised in Germany and is also fluent in the language.  Craig’s family is from Jamaica and although he was raised in the United States, his family spans the globe as well.  

Our Hobbies
We LOVE traveling and are always planning our next big adventure.  When we're not working on the next remodeling project in our home or traveling, we can definitely be found outdoors. 

We enjoy hiking, kayaking, snorkeling, sightseeing, hanging out at the beach and pretty much anything outdoors as we are blessed with having mountains, beaches, resorts and a bounty of beautiful parks just minutes away from our home.

Our Careers
Craig has been Active Duty Coast Guard for 20 years and working towards earning a degree in Graphic Design.  Jennifer has always believed in the importance of obtaining a formal education as well and has earned a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree and a Master’s Certificate. She started her own company providing photography, floral design services and interior consulting services three years ago.  Both of our positions grant us flexibility in scheduling which allow us to have a lot of family time at home! 

Jennifer About Craig
Craig is the most patient person that I know.  He is extremely tolerant and level-headed and rarely gets upset.  People gravitate to Craig as he is very outgoing and approachable and gets along with just about everyone.  He’s definitely a water person- Coast Guard for 20 years, SCUBA diving, snorkeling…just to name a few.  However, he does enjoy his downtime as well, whether it is creating a graphic design project, enjoying a movie or his beloved Travel and Discovery Channels! 

Craig is a loving and devoted man. He will be an extraordinary, supportive, loving, caring and involved father.  He has wanted the opportunity to be a "Papa"(German for "Daddy") for as long as I can remember!  He looks forward to taking our child to the zoo, the parks, the beach, Trick or Treating, reading bedtime stories and being the big kid at heart- even sharing his CRAYONS!

Craig About Jennifer
Jennifer is the most caring, understanding and compassionate person I know! She is a wonderful wife and my best friend! Jennifer is in her element when doing anything creative, but especially photography, gardening and decorating our home. Although she is very active, she enjoys playing board games, reading and watching movies in her quiet time.

Jennifer possesses a lot of love, patience and her genuine spirit and personality tend to draw children to her.  Jennifer is really looking forward to daily family dinners, creating crafts, bedtime stories (in English and German), birthday celebrations and just having the opportunity to be a wonderful “mama” and spending quality time with our child. 

Values
We both have strong morals and ethics. We deeply believe in the importance of honesty- to others and to one’s self. We also highly value the importance of a formal education and life experiences and will encourage your child through both of these aspects.  Our main goal in raising a family is to give our child/children all of the tools and opportunities to fully develop their innate talents and rearing a happy, healthy and self-confident child that won’t be afraid to follow his or her own dreams. 
 
Conclusion
We believe we were led to adoption and we can’t wait to share our life together as parents.  We promise to be committed, loving and supportive parents.  We will offer your child unconditional love and support and an encouraging and accepting environment in which he or she can thrive in.
