Dear Birthmother,

We hope that our website gives you a glimpse of what life would be like for your child.  We have been married for 12 years and we are still very much in love.  We are very excited about the possibility of becoming first-time parents.  We want to raise your child in a home where love flows abundantly.  We are both Christians and faith is the cornerstone of everything that we do.  Your child will be surrounded by unconditional love, stability, protection, laughter and wonderful childhood memories. 

Our Story…
We met in the U.S. Navy. Damion checked Misty in on her first day aboard the ship and we have been inseparable every since. We love outdoor activities such as riding our bikes and gardening.  We also love to travel together and see different parts of the world.

Family is key; we like spending time with them having cookouts and gatherings.   We have a large family so there will be plenty of love for your child.  The things that we value most are first our love for God, our love for family and our community.   We assure you that your child will be raised with unlimited support, security and most of all unyielding love.

Misty is determined, intelligent, pretty and warm.  I have always known that she will be a great mommy someday.  Education is important to her.  She has continued her education and will soon have her degree in Business Management.  She is passionate about learning and your child will be raised with knowledge and will know that the sky is the limit when it comes to achieving whatever they strive to become in life. 

Misty comes from a close family with two sisters and two brothers.  She works in Administration at a hospital.  Misty is active in our church.  She sings in the choir, she participates in the women’s ministry and she is one fourth of an inspirational/gospel singing group that she has sang with since her youth.  My wife has a calming spirit and she keeps me grounded.  We have many nieces and nephews and they love spending time with ‘Aunt Misty.’

Damion is funny.  I fell in love with his sense of humor.  He is strong, smart, attentive, hardworking and attractive. Damion has seven siblings and he is close to all of them.  He has a God-given rapport with children and our nieces and nephews adore him. 

He is a sports fanatic. He often lends his coaching skills to our nephew that is active in sports. 

Damion works at insurance company and has been with the company for ten years.  Damion is the strong silent type.  He always manages to keep a cool head when challenges arise. 

Damion’s favorite pastimes are watching football, riding his motorcycle, gardening and spending time with family.  Damion is great with our nieces and nephews.  He is silly around them. I think that he would make a great father.

Our Home and Community…
We live in a cul-de-sac in Texas with other couples raising small children.  You will always find our cul-de-sac filled with little ones on their bikes and playing. We feel that this would be the perfect environment for your child’s upbringing. 

Our home is a two story house with three bedrooms and two and a half baths.  The house is located on a huge corner lot allowing plenty of room for your child to run and play.  The neighborhood is made up of multiple ethnicities lending to the cultural diversity that we enjoy and hope to surround your child with.  We love the family environment of our neighborhood

Our Family…
We love our family.  The best times that we have are spent together.  We have Sunday dinners and spend holidays together. We love to vacation together.  When we get together we have fun.  There is always a lot of laughing involved.  We love to eat together so outside cookouts in the park are routine.  They are excited for us and they are ready to assist us with the care of your child.

Our Promise to You
If you choose us to parent your child, we plan to provide them with love and protection. We will share their adoption story with them and make sure that they know how they became such a blessed part of our lives.
