Dear Birthmother,

We are Darin and Pegg – an energetic and loving couple hoping to add more love and laughter to our family through adoption.

We have been married almost 15 years. We experienced infertility throughout our marriage and yet decided that would not stop us from finding a way to make our family. Adoption has always been the only answer that we ever have thought of. About five years ago we began our first journey with Lifetime Adoption and in 2001 we were honored to be selected by a lovely young birthmother.

Our prayers were answered and our daughter, Ainsley, was born out of this special relationship. This relationship remains today as we have contact with her birthparents' families through letters, e-mails, pictures, and a website. A family is a gift from God and should always be regarded as such.

About Darin
Darin is a wonderful husband and terrific father. He is a giving person and always the first one to volunteer help for anyone whether it is a neighbor, friend, family member or stranger. Darin is a success in just about everything he does. He is active duty in the California National Guard and has been working as a computer Network Administrator for them for several years earning many promotions and awards for his service.

Ainsley and he have a great relationship – she describes him as her "fun daddy." He is always loving and caring to her and knows how to have a great time with children. He is her big, huggable teddy bear.

About Pegg
Pegg is a good mom and wife. She enjoys the motherly duties and everything that comes with it. She works for a company that allows her to be able to work from her home office. This is a nice option for her that makes it easy to take off and enjoy participating in school functions like a Mothers' Day tea or helping out with activities or play dates.

She can often be found chatting with the other moms about all things concerning kids -- from where to take them for fun on the weekend, to what needs to be worked on to help the teachers at school. She enjoys many activities with Ainsley such as shopping and going to the park with friends. Ainsley is her little buddy.

About Ainsley
Ainsley is four and a half years old and a total joy. She is extremely excited to be a big sister and has been helping to get the room of her sibling in order. She often talks about what she is going to do with them, help them with, and teach them.

Ainsley is a happy-go-lucky child and is anxious to share her love with a sibling! If it were up to Ainsley, she says she would like to have ten siblings!

Our Promise
Our promise to you is that is that we will fill your child's world with love and acceptance... that they will know what a family is and have our support for their lifetime. We would be willing to continue contact through letters/emails with pictures so that you can see them grow up if you would like to. That decision is up to you.
