Dear Birthmother,

Thank you for taking time to get to know more about our family.  We were blessed to have our sons with the help of fertility treatments.  We’ve always hoped to add a daughter to our family and are excited to be adopting.

About Us:
We have been happily married for ten years.  We have a strong marriage built on love, faith in God, laughter, and mutual respect.  Our marriage is truly a partnership.  As a couple, we enjoy going out to dinner and a movie, going on walks, bowling and just spending quality time together. 

We have been blessed with two wonderful sons and we can’t wait to adopt a daughter.  We love spending time together as a family playing outside, biking, jet skiing, and tubing. 

Our home is a loving environment that is filled with a balance of joy, respect, and laughter. We try to lay the foundation of manners and respect that will help our children grow into responsible and respectful adults.

About Darin by Shana:
Darin is a great father and husband.  Darin has a very steady and even personality.  He is dependable, loyal and honest.  Darin is a person that people come to when they seek advice or want to talk to someone who can be objective and impartial.

Darin is handy around the house.  Darin enjoys softball, basketball and baseball.  He likes water skiing and playing games like cards or chess.  Darin has a good sense of humor.  He loves to have fun, which is obvious from his interactions with our sons.  He chases the boys around the house and jokes with the boys to make them laugh.  Darin loves fatherhood and I know he’ll be great with a daughter.

About Shana by Darin: 
Shana is outgoing and bubbly; she loves to laugh.  She is very supportive and very responsible with a heart of gold.  I see her compassion for others and her desire to help out those in need.  As a mother she displays all of these same qualities.  She is a very caring and conscientious mother who sees the individual needs of each of our sons.  She enjoys spending time with the boys and gets the greatest joy out of watching them enjoy life.  In her free time she likes to scrapbook, make cards, read, and participate in water sports. 

About Lucas and Jack:
Lucas is our oldest son.  He is six years old and starting first grade this year.  Lucas is very compassionate and tender-hearted.  He is outgoing, makes friends easily, and loves playing with all of the children in the neighborhood. 

Jack is nearly four years old.  He is a high energy boy who lives life to the fullest and adores little kids.  He makes a big impact on people and everyone tells us they just love Jack.  Jack loves to be outside playing and is a typical boy who is quickly covered in dirt from head to toe. 

Our Home:
Our home is located on a quiet cul-de-sac.  The neighborhood has many children around, a city park, and miles of biking trails. 

We have a two-story home with five bedrooms, four bathrooms, and a huge playroom in the basement. 

In Closing:
We are excited to welcome a daughter into our family through adoption.  We will cherish her and raise her in an environment filled with unconditional love and laughter. 

Your child will be nurtured and raised with the same values we have raised our sons; to love God, to show compassion, and to be honest and respectful of others.  We value education and will ensure that all of our children receive an education that offers strong academic and extra curricular opportunities.
