Hi!  We are Darryl and Sheri, a fun, loving, energetic Christian couple who love the outdoors. We are very excited about becoming first time parents and we thank you for considering adoption for your baby.  Adoption is already a big part of each of our families. We are financially stable and are prepared to love, protect, teach and care for your child. 

About Us:
We met our first day in college and immediately realized that we had so much in common.  Having adopted siblings we know first hand that love and adoption are inseparable.  This common bond was the beginning of the most beautiful friendship.  We have been best friends for over 18 years and have been married almost 6 of those years.  Infertility issues, our love and our faith have led us to this path of adoption.

We are big kids at heart in loving life and all the blessings that God has bestowed upon us.  We love to spend our time together, especially outdoors.  Our life in the military offers us the opportunity to travel and to make friends from all over the world.

About Darryl:
Darryl is my best friend, my soul mate. He is a pilot in the US Air Force and I am very proud of him and his accomplishments in life.  He is well respected among his coworkers and peers for his dedication.  I have always known in my heart that Darryl would be a great father.  I love to watch him play with our dog, Harley.  He is honest, generous and compassionate.

He always makes me laugh and is so supportive of me in all that I do.  God has truly blessed me with such a wonderful husband and best friend.

About Sheri:
From the day I met Sheri, I knew she would play a tremendous role in my life.  Sheri is the happiest, most caring and loving person I have ever met.  Being a military wife is not always the easiest, but she is always strong, supportive, and takes everything in stride.  She is successful in her career and is always receiving praise for going above and beyond what is required. 

Sheri is destined to be a great mother.  Her heart is so full of love it spills out into her personality. She was my best friend when we met and after all these years, she is still my best friend.

Our Home and Community:
We have a beautiful two story home in a gated golf resort community in the sandhills of North Carolina.  It has three bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, office/study, and a spacious bonus room.  We have a fenced back yard great for play-time. 

Our neighborhood has a community pool, tennis court, basketball court, soccer field, parks, several ponds with paddle boats and canoes and several fitness trails.

Faith, Family, and Friends:
We both are Christians who attend a small, close knit church with a large child population.  As future parents, we look forward to raising our children to know the love, hope, and saving grace of Jesus Christ and to desire a relationship with Him.

We have a strong, loving marriage because of our shared faith in God, and the honesty and respect that we have for one another.   We open our hearts and our home to your child.  We believe that God has a plan and a purpose for our lives.  We will always hold you dear in our hearts.

If you wish, we will be glad to have ongoing contact via letters, emails, and photos.  We will share with your child from early on the story about the blessing of their adoption.
