About Us     
Our first date was about four years ago at a bookstore. We both love to read so it was a natural place to meet for the first time. We talked and talked, quickly realizing that there was going to be a second date.   We have been married for three years and have done a lot together during that time.

Right after our wedding, we moved to Germany because Telita is an officer in the Army.  What a blessing—spending our first years of marriage in Europe!  We traveled extensively.  Dave loved Paris and Telita loved Rome.  But, what we enjoyed most was sharing the experience with each other and our families who came to visit.  While in Germany, we attempted to start a family but were unsuccessful with in vitro fertilization.  We had always talked about adopting a child even if we had our own children so we did not hesitate to start the process of adoption.

We were both raised by wonderful parents and had great childhoods.  We are close to our siblings and love spending time with our nieces and nephews.  They are all eager for us to add to the family.  Our family support during this journey has been phenomenal.  Your baby will be joining a loving, loyal and supportive family.  Your baby will know love not just from us but also from a whole host of family members.

About Telita by Dave
It is hard to tell someone exactly how Telita fills my life I could go on forever.   Telita has shown me how life can be experienced to its fullest.  She is the love of my life and she completes me. She challenges me to be the very best person I can be by setting the example. When I met Telita, she promised that we would have a great life.  And, we have worked hard to have just that, a great life together.

Telita comes from a very special family.  She has one sister, and one brother.  Her dad is easy-going, loving and is already a great grandfather.   I never met her mother but I can tell you Telita’s mother lives in her.  Telita often comments that her mother was truly a special woman and an amazing mother.  I have no doubt that like her mother; Telita will be an amazing mother to the children in our lives.  I am so very excited at the opportunity to be a parent with Telita at my side.  We have a great life that will only be better with a child.

About Dave by Telita
My husband is the most generous, loving man I know.  He has a big heart and a wonderful warm smile to match.  He is passionate about his friendship, and loyal to his friends and family. I envy Dave’s ability to share his feelings and emotions with others.  He is open, genuine about his feelings and unashamed to show them.  Dave has an incredible imagination and enjoys creative writing.  He is a brilliant student of World War II history and has a phenomenal memory.  Dave is quick to laugh and has a great sense of humor. What I love most about my husband is his love for me.  His love and support has brought joy to my life.

Dave comes from a small loving close-knit family.  He has one sister and his dad lives with her.  His mother lives about one mile from his sister and they get together regularly.  His Dad has vowed to be the best grandfather ever, outdoing my Dad.  Dave’s family’s love and support has enriched our lives.   Dave is so very excited to become a parent. He will provide the same unconditional love and support to a child as he has to me. 

Our Home    
We currently own a beautiful three-bedroom town home in a nice community outside of Washington D.C. 

Our neighborhood is diverse and filled with children, parks and great schools.
