Dear Birthmother,

We are thrilled to have the opportunity to write this letter. We have adopted two beautiful children and are looking forward to welcoming another child into our arms and into our hearts. Thank you for taking the time to consider us for this very special decision.

About Us
Ever since we got married, almost ten years ago now, we have wanted a large family -- we have so much love to share. Our home is filled with love, laughter and happiness. We would be truly blessed to share this and much more with another child.

We love being parents. We feel it was our calling. We are best friends, and the foundation of our marriage is love, honesty and mutual respect.

After years of testing and medical procedures we were told of our infertility. At that time it wasn't a question of whether we would have children, but instead, how we would have them. This is the path that led us to adoption.

We hope that we are given the opportunity to bring another child into our loving home through the miracle of adoption.

About Traci Michele
Traci grew up on her family's farm and remains very close to her large family. I've never met anyone more suited to being a mom. Traci's life revolves around our children, her nieces and nephews, and the kids she coaches. She does everything she can to ensure that they have what they need, and they feel loved.

When we found out about our infertility, Traci was devastated. Thankfully there was another option. When the nurse placed our son Thies into Traci's arms, I saw a joy in her that I had never seen.

Traci loves being a stay-at home-mom because she can be there for all the little things. She reads, plays games and plays "pretend" with Thies and Trista. She also enjoys just "hanging out" with them. Watching them grow and experience new things is one of her favorite pastimes.

About David
David was ALSO born and raised on his family's farm. After many years of farming with his father, he finally found his true calling. He is the superintendent of a country school along with two charter schools - the same school he and three previous generations of his family all attended.

David has a huge heart and loves children. His job enables him to be an important part of children's upbringing: their education.

David was meant to be a father. His fun-loving spirit is contagious. He knows how important his role is in our family and feels it is vital to spend time with our children. He enjoys reading to them, playing games and taking them for rides on the tractor. They get so excited to hear those words at the end of the day, "Daddy's home!"

About Thies and Trista
Adoption has been very special to us with the births of our two children. Thies is six years old and is very excited about being a big brother again. He is in kindergarten and it is amazing to watch him progress and learn. We continue to send pictures and letters to Thies' birthmother. Trista is two years old and is very outgoing. She has a huge personality and loves to talk. Trista has an amazing imagination and we are always impressed with the things she comes up with. She loves her big brother and he is so good to her. Unfortunately, we have lost contact with Trista's birthmother.

Our Home
We recently built our dream home on our own family farm of 30 acres. We live in a small farming community out in the country. The community consists of a lot of relatives since this is where David's ancestors first settled.

Our home has an open floor plan with four bedrooms and three bathrooms. We have a play room for all the toys and a huge game room with a pool table.

Our Faith
We were both raised Catholic and continue to practice that faith today. We believe God is our direction to life. We know that children are miracles from God and look forward to sharing our faith with another child.
