Dear Birthmother,

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about our family and considering us as parents for your child.  We have wanted a child to love and cherish every since we were married, but due to infertility we were unable to. We both love kids, have lots of love to give and will raise our child in the most loving and stable environment possible. It is our dream to raise a happy and healthy child. We are excited to experience the joy of parenthood together as a couple.

Our Beginning
We met while Teresa was working as a vacation specialist for a realty company on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Eric was working full-time as a paramedic while finishing college after completing service in the Army. We immediately became best friends, and this developed into a lifelong commitment and, ultimately, marriage. We have been married for seven great years and we have traveled widely, experiencing all that life has to offer. We like quiet relaxation at home, going out to movies, spending an evening with a close circle of friends, or taking a walk in the mountains or at the beach.  

About Teresa
Teresa is an outgoing, fun-loving person who readily makes friends everywhere she goes. Her warm-hearted, kind demeanor endears new acquaintances to her. She is giving and adores children. Teresa is already a great mother, having seen her daughter through adulthood, and she maintains a healthy reservoir of love and caring to extend to a child again. She exhibits this among her extended family and mine, with her enthusiasm and involvement with all the kids.  Teresa works in the home and loves the flexibility, attention and commitment this will allow her to show your child.

About Eric
Aside from being the love of my life, Eric is a very loving and compassionate man.  He is a man of integrity and is respected by family, friends and co-workers.  Eric is also a very hard worker, ensuring that I have everything I need or want.  He loves doing things outdoors to include camping, hiking, motorcycle riding, and rock climbing, and then there are times when he likes to sit at home and watch a movie and cuddle on the couch or play video games.  Eric is very supportive of me and all the things I am involved in.  I have no doubt that he will be a wonderful, loving and caring father, which any child will be blessed to have in their life.

Our Home
Due to the nature of Eric’s employment with the government, we move frequently. Contrary to being a burden, this lifestyle exposes us to wonderful things all over the country and around the world that most will never experience. Our home is two years old in a gated community a couple of hundred feet from the beach in Muscat, Oman, which is informally known as the “Switzerland of the Middle East.” It has four bedrooms, and a small back yard. We value the wonderful benefits of living amongst the many historical and cultural attractions.  We love the thought of your child developing the broadest possible horizons through exposure to different cultures and languages.  

Our Family
Both of us cherish family above anything else. We were both raised in relatively small towns with traditional values such as respect for others, honesty, integrity, hard work, strong morals, education, strong religious values, and the importance of good character in both our personal and professional lives. We both have large extended families with aunts, uncles, and cousins, some of whom were adopted themselves. We recall the good family times of our younger years, such as holidays, cookouts, and family dinners.  We yearn to make new memories on these occasions with our own family and provide the love and happiness which was provided to us when we were younger. It would be inspirational to watch the anticipation, hope and enjoyment in the eyes of your child on these occasions.
