Dear Birthmother,

Hello! We are Fred and Sonia. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about us and consider us as adoptive parents. 

God has blessed us with a beautiful family!  We adopted our first child, Sarah.  Due to infertility, we cannot have biological children and we pray each night that the Lord will bless us with another child through adoption.

We truly do pray for you to be at peace each and every day.  We know that the gift of adoption you are considering for your baby is the ultimate gift of a mother’s love.

About Sonia
Sonia has dedicated her life to children.  She has a degree in Elementary Education, Special Education, and Kindergarten.  She was a foster parent in the past. She has also owned and operated a daycare for the last 13 years. 

Being a teacher, her job provides flexible schedules and the summers off.  Once we adopt, she will stay at home for at least a year or two with the baby. She was raised in a traditional home with traditional values.  She too was raised with the value of spending time with families on outings, trips, dinners, and church. 

Sonia has a very warm heart and loving nature.  She is always kind to others.  Sonia always thinks of others before she thinks of her self.  She is a very caring and friendly person. 

About Fred
Fred is a Forester/Wildlife Biologist who enjoys working out in the forest, planting trees, and enjoying the sunshine.  When he comes home, he loves to relax, do handiwork around the house, and cook dinner for our family.   He was raised in a very traditional home and continues to enjoy the importance of sitting down to eat supper together each night as a family and discussing the day’s events. 

Fred is my rock!  He is the most patient, kind, honest, loving, and gentle man I have ever met.  He is my best friend and I love being a parent with him.  He is not only a wonderful husband but he is also an awesome daddy!  I love to see him playing school with Sarah.  Fred is the foundation of our family and home! 

About Sarah
Sarah is very loving and quiet spirited child.  She was adopted at the age of six months through an open adoption. Sarah loves to play teacher. She has stated that when she grows up, she wants to be a teacher like her mommy. Spending time at our daycare has given Sarah the opportunity to have experiences caring and helping with younger children and absolutely adores them. She cannot wait to become a big sister.
 
Our Louisiana Home:
Our home is a three bedroom, two and a half bath tri-level brick home in a subdivision setting around a golf course.  We have a neighborhood watch program. Most of the children attend a neighborhood school which is located three miles from our house.  We also have several neighborhood family activities such as the 4th of July parade, the ice cream social, trick or treating for Halloween, and caroling at Christmas.  

We are very fortunate to have our parents with in walking distance from our home.  We also enjoy spending time in their pool during the summer.

Faith and Family:
We are a Christian family with a strong belief in God.  It is our whole heart’s desire to provide a strong foundation for our children.  We want to raise them to learn the value of family, friends, life, and God. 

God has richly blessed us with a wonderfully large family support system.  We’re blessed to have loving parents, strong family values, and a love for God.  They are all strongly supportive of our desire to adopt another child and are anxious to welcome another child into their hearts.
