About Us
Sonia-Maria is from the Caribbean nation of Trinidad and Tobago, and Gary is from Nevada. Our marriage of eight years is based on Christ and on our mutual love, trust, respect, and commitment. We support the goals of one another, and we eagerly anticipate sharing our home and lives with your child.

My Wife, Sonia-Maria
Sonia-Maria is beautiful, smart, compassionate, feisty, and has a great sense of humor. She has a close relationship with her family and enjoys the company of close friends.

Sonia-Maria has a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature, with Honors, and enjoyed a fourteen-year career as a senior high school English Language/Literature Teacher and served as Head of the English Department and as acting Vice Principal. Sonia-Maria is presently employed part-time in the Early Childhood Ministry Department of our church. She will leave that position to be a stay-at-home mom.

Sonia-Maria is very organized and focused. A voracious reader, her favorite subjects are history, psychology, and parenting. She always schedules time for exercise, and she cooks so well that I usually take my lunch to work.

Sonia-Maria enjoys keeping our home comfortable and has great plans for the room of your child. She loves to celebrate birthdays and holidays. She is a strong Christian. Sonia-Maria loves kids and kids love her; she'll be a great mom.

My Husband, Gary
Gary is God's greatest blessing to me. He's my best friend and makes me feel very important. He loves Jesus and has the gifts of patience, creativity, intelligence, gentleness, and compassion.

Gary has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. He completed his studies while serving on active duty in the United States Air Force. He's worked in Information Technology for 21 years, and he now works for a major telecommunications company. Gary also dabbles in voice acting.

Gary had a great childhood, with a loving and supportive family. Gary loves to make people laugh, and he can impersonate almost anyone; he's a joy to be around. A perfect gentleman, Gary opens doors for me and surprises me with flowers and dark chocolate! Gary enjoys playing softball, basketball, rollerblading, and ice skating. He sings bass in our church choir and at home he plays the piano and guitar. He's performed in various church and choir productions as a stage actor, voice actor, narrator, and announcer.

Gary is respectful to all, he loves to interact with children, and he'll be a blessing to your child.

Our Faith
Jesus Christ is the cornerstone of our marriage. We enjoy serving in our church and will have your child actively participate in church activities.

We believe that faith in Christ begins at home, and we will teach and model the love of God to your child.

Our Home and Community
We live in the San Francisco East Bay Area, in a two-story, four-bedroom, two and one-half bath home, which has a large backyard and is located near the end of a cul-de-sac. There are several parks and schools nearby, where children play.

We share our home with two happy cats, Chico and Gabby, and a friendly black lab, named Emma.

Our Family and Friends
Our family and friends are very important to us, and they are excited and supportive of our adoption plans; we already have offers of play dates and baby sitting! Family time is our highest priority. Our camera always gets a workout, to remind us of our joyful times.
