We are very excited to be parents! We have always dreamed of raising a family. As parents we will encourage your child to learn, grow, explore and follow his or her dreams.

Our families have provided us with a strong foundation based on love, communication, tolerance and support that will guide us as parents. We have successful careers and can offer your child stability and a good education. Our home is filled with love, trust, honesty, laughter, patience and a solid faith in God.

About Us
We began our relationship long distance. The day we met sparks flew, literally. We shook hands and there was a tiny shock of electricity. We’ve now been married over 6 years and our relationship is especially strong because we are best friends.

We both have college degrees and have been blessed with great success. Greg is an Industrial Arts Instructor and Tammie is a Meteorologist.

Our hobbies include snow skiing, traveling, scuba diving, fishing, gardening, bicycling, hiking, camping, boating, watching movies, cooking together and re-modeling homes.

We also enjoy cooking; creating new dishes is our specialty. We also try to eat healthy and organic whenever possible. Seafood, Italian Food, Mexican food and Sushi top our favorites list and yes we do splurge once in awhile for our favorite desserts or popcorn at the movies.

About Greg
Greg is handy and has remodeled several of our homes. In his spare time, he creates beautiful wrought iron furniture. He can take anything apart, fix it and put it back together again. He even re-built a small boat so we could spend time on the local lakes during the summer.

Greg is also very great with kids of all ages. He is an Industrial Arts instructor at an inner-city high school where he created a special certification program that teaches kids welding or construction, so they will have the skills to get a job after high school.

One of the things I admire most about him is the way he treats people with a considerate ear and positive nature.

About Tammie
Tammie is my best friend and soul mate. She cares about people and will go out of her way to help anyone in need, including strangers. From the first day I met Tammie she has always talked about starting a camp for kids with special needs.

Tammie also loves animals. She grew up with horses, cattle, sheep, birds, dogs and cats. She knows how to nurture everything she comes in contact with.

Tammie loves to cook and is always coming up with restaurant quality dishes. Desserts are her specialty, and she makes an award-winning carrot cake topped with shaved white chocolate.

Tammie is one of the smartest and talented women I’ve ever met. She is awesome because she knows how to do so many things and is good at them. She is a very devoted, loving, and a very supportive wife.

Our Home
We live in the suburbs of the most beautiful and exciting city in Illinois. We love it! The rumble of thunder in the spring, the colors of fall, the fire flies in summer and the beauty of the first snow of the season are all incredible.

Our home has four bedrooms and three baths. The yard is over an acre in size with a huge lawn, many old trees and plenty of colorful flowers.

It’s a very safe and friendly area where everyone says hi. We live near excellent schools and a large park with ball fields and a playground.

Our Families
We are blessed to have loving families who are excited for us to adopt. We each have one brother and one sister, and there are five nieces and nephews. We also have dozens of cousins and when we all get together it’s a blast. Adoption is already a part of our extended family as well.

Our friends stretch from coast-to-coast and each one of them is special to us. We believe when you find a dear friend they become part of the family too.
