Providing the Support You Need In Choosing Your Child's Future Help and Support for Pregnant Women

Adoptive parents, Rawley and Gus

Dear Birthmother,

We are not new to adoption and know very well the great blessings it brings.  Rawley was adopted, as were our daughters, Zoe and Lana.  Thank you for taking the time to consider us for your child.  We are open to adopting a baby boy or girl of any race and we promise to love your child unconditionally and keep in touch with you. We look forward to learning more about you and your hopes for your baby.

Gus and Rawley adopted their daughters from GuatemalaAbout Us
We met shortly after Gus bought a house across the street from Rawley's parent's house. Gus was often helping out Rawley's terminally ill father with outside work. Rawley's mom immediately wanted her to "get to know the new neighbor". After a few hellos, we had our first date. We both knew right away that we had found our soul mates.

After years of infertility, we believe that God led us to adoption. This was a very natural and easy choice for us since Rawley was herself adopted. We feel that we can provide a unique insight to adoption through our own personal experiences.

We have a very fun, honest, loving relationship, and have always dreamed of having a large family. We cannot wait to adopt again, and look forward to the infant stages we missed with Zoe and Lana.

Rawley out for a runAbout Rawley (by Gus)
Rawley is a wonderful wife and mother. She loves swimming, dancing with the girls, and takes great care of all of us. She is calm, yet outgoing, caring, yet funny, very patient and above all, thoughtful. She will go out of her way to help anyone. She is the most unselfish person I know.

Rawley has worked for a local hospital as a Cardiology Technician for the past twelve years. She loves her job, and is very popular throughout the hospital. She often receives monthly star awards for her care and support to the patients, and staff.

Since adopting our daughters, Rawley has kept in touch with a foster mother is Guatemala, and continues to work toward raising awareness for children in need, and collecting donations.

Gus is very patient, understanding, and laid back. He is the love of my life. He is great with Zoe and Lana, always right on the floor next to them playing, and learning. Gus is gentle, caring, goofy, and just a great guy. Gus loves to cook, play baseball, swim, and take long walks with his family.

Gus is a manager for a local food chain. He has been with the company for twenty years now. He is known for being attentive, dependable, friendly, funny, and always caring. He enjoys his work, but loves his days off with our girls even more.

Zoe and Lana enjoying their Power WheelsFamily
Zoe and Lana are quickly approaching three years old. They are truly a blessing to us, and our families. Zoe is more quiet and serious, while Lana is loud, and loves to make you laugh. They are both gentle and love to "help" me in any way that they can. They are excited about having a new baby in the house.

Rawley's mother is the caregiver when we both are at work. She is a retired kindergarten teacher, and is always doing crafts with the girls. She lives right across the street from us, and even has an in ground pool for summer swimming.

Family is the most important thing to us. We both have caring, loving, and supportive families. They all live close by, and visit us often.
Everyone is looking forward to our next adoption. Our faith is very important too. We attend a Catholic church close to our home, and plan on enrolling our children in our church's school when the time comes.

Gus and Rawley's home in MassachusettsHome
We live in a three bedroom, two bath home on a quiet, cul-de-sac street. Our neighborhood is full of families with children. We have a large fenced in back yard with lots of woods for exploring, and a large play room downstairs with a wood stove for those cold winter days.
We love to go to local zoos, parks, the beach, the library, or church events. We take weekly trips to a local farm for fresh milk, yogurt, eggs.....and of course to kiss the cows.

We enjoy staying home as well. There is nothing like relaxing family time, reading, coloring, dancing, or just talking with the girls.
We have two dogs, and five cats. The youngest two cats are Zoe and Lana's cats as they follow them around all day. The dogs often get more kisses than we do some days.

Gus and Rawley promise to love, cherish, and support your babyOur Promise
We promise to not only love, cherish, and support your baby, but to raise him or her as our own. We believe that we are all one, no matter what race, religion, color, or background we may come from. We have kept much of the Guatemalan culture for Zoe and Lana, and look forward to including your child's culture or heritage in our family as well.

We believe that God led us to adoption, and we feel truly blessed. We look forward to having a relationship with you, and being as open as you wish to be. Through our unique experiences with adoption we've come to believe that life is precious and that through adoption a person can be blessed by having two families, a birth family and an adoptive family. We look forward to talking with you.
