Dear Birthmother,

Thank you for taking the time to get to know us a little. We are Henry & Anna from North Texas. We have an endless amount of love to give to a child and are excited about the opportunity to begin our family through adoption.

About Us...
We met 13 years ago while on an archaeological dig in Belize. Sparks flew and we have been together ever since. We will celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary next year. Several years of fertility treatments have brought us closer together than you can imagine. We are thrilled about the prospect of bringing a child, or children, into our home though adoption.

Our love of children has been a wonderful bond between us. We love how sweet, funny, and mischievous they can be. We look forward to singing lullabies, reading stories, laughing and seeing what wonderful gifts and talents God has planned for our child.

We like traveling and try to take vacations. We like swimming at the beach, canoeing, fishing, hiking and sightseeing. Going to the movies, shopping, spending time with friends and family, reading, or listening to music are other favorite activities. Sharing the world with a child and seeing joy through their eyes will be worth our wait.

Meet Henry
Henry is kindest, most loving person I know. He is caring, thoughtful, generous and compassionate. He and his twin brother come from a strong Catholic background. For Henry, family always comes first.

Henry is a devoted "tio" to our 3 nephews and 2 nieces. He loves to sing, dance and play musical instruments with them. Our nephews and nieces love reading with Henry because he really plays the stories up. I know he'll make a great dad and I look forward to raising a child with him.

Henry has always been supportive of the relationship I keep with my daughter and her adoptive family, and he adores Leigh.

Meet Anna
Anna is compassionate, loving, and thoughtful. She always puts others first and knows exactly what to say to make them feel better. She is extremely creative and has been into arts & crafts ever since I met her.

She adores her nieces and nephews and they love their "tia." If the kids visit, they don't want to leave; they ask if they can stay with Tia Anna. They enjoy trips to the zoo, museum or bookstore with their Tia. Anna will be an excellent Mom.

Our Families
We are both blessed with wonderful parents who shared long marriages. We each have one brother each and we get together often with their wives and children. We plan to raise a big family of our own.

Our families are a big part of our lives and they are supportive of our plans to adopt. We get together to celebrate birthdays, holidays, baptisms, weddings and anniversaries.

We consider Anna's daughter's family part of our own. We are blessed to have an open adoption with them. Even though they live in another state, we've been able to watch her grow through pictures, letters and visits. While Leigh was growing up, Anna got to visit with her every three years. Now, we all plan to see each other as much as we can. Leigh is very excited to have a baby brother or sister.

Our Home
Our home is in a cul-de-sac in a quiet suburb where there are children of all ages. We have a neatly landscaped front yard and a fenced backyard. We have 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a dining room, and a large family room. Everything a family needs, like parks, a YMCA, excellent schools, and day cares are nearby.

Our Dogs
We have two of the sweetest cocker spaniels that have been wonderful companions and they are good with our nieces and nephews.

Our Promise...
We promise to raise your child in a home filled with love and laughter. We promise that your child will always know where they came from. If you would like, we are open to sharing letters, photos, phone calls, and visits with you, as well as learning what you hope for in your child's adoption.
