Dear Birthmother,
Hello! Faith and family are what matter most to us. We are a loving, devoted couple and we’re excited about becoming first-time parents. We promise to raise your child in a home filled with unconditional love, laughter, stability, and Christian values. We’d also be interested to stay in touch with you after the adoption, if you wish.
About Us
We met online over 10 years ago, with 1,000 miles between us. When we met in person, we both knew instantly that we would marry. Kimberly made the move from Florida to Wisconsin where we continued dating, and we have been married for over 8 years now! We’ve tried for the last three years to start our family but found out we have been experiencing “undiagnosed infertility.” That led us to adoption and we are looking forward to this new journey in our life toward parenthood.
Together we enjoy going for walks, riding in Jack’s plane, or taking our parrots out in public. Most days our life is pretty laid back and you’d find us cuddled up on the couch, “people-watching”, playing games, calling family or watching TV.
About Jack
Jack’s loving heart, kindness, loyalty and devotion to family are a few of the qualities that make him such a wonderful man and husband. He has a wonderful sense of humor and is truly a kid at heart. He also enjoys playing golf, taking care of our yard, or flying in his airplane. Jack will be an amazing father. He is a partner in an Information Technology firm and has worked very hard to achieve this position as it also allows freedom to stay at home as well.
About Kimberly
Kimberly is a warm, loving, and caring wife. She is often called on by friends and family for support. Kimberly works as an administrative assistant and loves keeping people organized.
She even plans on teaching American Sign Language (ASL) to our children. Kimberly will become a stay-at-home mom after we adopt. She loves playing in a volleyball league twice a week, doing search-and-find puzzles, and listening to music or attending concerts.
Our Home
We built our home and it is located on a horseshoe street in a wonderful suburb in Wisconsin. Our home has three bedrooms, along with a family room, dining area and kitchen combination where our friends and family love to gather. We also have plenty of room in our backyard for play time. We live near great schools, parks, the library, and many beautiful walking and biking paths.
Our Pets
Parrots are also part of our family, also known as “the boys,” Zoey and Alex. They are often a big attraction when we go on walks or visit the park at the end of our street. They have separate cages in their room together and when we are not home that is where they spend their time. Otherwise, they come out under our supervision, sit on a perch, cuddle with us, or play with toys.
Our Families
Jack’s parents and five siblings live within 20 minutes of us. Kimberly’s three brothers and parents remain in Florida, a place we visit yearly; and her sister lives in Georgia and makes the trek to Florida whenever we visit.
One of our favorite family get-togethers is Christmas with 18 of our 25 nieces, their parents and grandparents in a winter wonderland. Our families are extremely supportive and are very excited to meet the child we adopt.
Our Faith
We are involved in a loving church and we participate in bible study groups. We believe that a personal relationship with Jesus Christ is the most important part of being a Christian. We also feel education is very important and our children will attend private Christian schools from preschool through high school. We plan to support and encourage them for a college education.
Our Promise
We want to thank you for taking the time to read more about us. We promise to be parents who will love, nurture, protect and teach your child all the wonderful opportunities life has to offer. We feel a child can never have too much love, and we are open to contact after the adoption and throughout his or her life, if that is your wish. You will be in our thoughts and prayers as you make this important decision for your child. Please call Lifetime at 1-800-923-6784 to talk with us. We look forward to learning more about you.
Sincerely,
