Dear Birthmother,

As we sit here writing this letter to you, we are excited to add a little person in our lives to love and nurture. We have longed to become parents to a child and share the pure joy that life has to offer. I cannot begin to express our gratitude that you are considering us as parents. We believe with all our hearts that everything in life happens for a reason and that God has a plan for each of us.

Our Life Together
We have been married since 2006. Our relationship began in 2004 on an online dating site, and we fell in love on our first date. We both knew we had found our soul mate. In fact, it turned out that we were both born not too far from each other the same exact year.

This will be our first child. We struggled with infertility and chose the gift of adoption instead of invasive fertility procedures. Something in our hearts just called us to adopt. We are world explorers and have visited many places in Europe, Africa and China. We long to share our love for travel with our child and give them the gift of the many cultures we so dearly cherish.

About Jared
Jared is an Engineer for a Telecom company here in Texas. He is a super smart and outgoing person with a wonderful entrepreneurial spirit. He started a successful company at the age of 20 and grew it to become one of the top performing IT companies in our area. His motivation and commitment amazes me each day, and I am proud to call him my husband and my best friend. As a teenager, his love for children included dressing up as the Easter Bunny and handing out eggs to the neighborhood kids each year. I don’t know too many teenagers who would do that! He is a chef in the making and hosts dinner parties at our home frequently. He ran his first marathon in January and is training for his next few this year.

About Heather
Heather works in online marketing for an energy company, and she loves being able to use her creativity in her career. She enjoys making our house a home and has a passion for art and interior decorating. She loves to travel and leads a very active lifestyle; she is training for her first half-marathon this year. She grew up showing quarter horses and is excited for the day when she can teach our child to ride. 

Our Family
Family is extremely important to us, and we owe everything we are today to our loving and selfless parents. They have made our lives truly wonderful. Both sets of parents have been married for over 35 years. Heather’s parents live five minutes away and Jared’s about 30 minutes. Weekends and holidays are filled with warmth, joy and laughter. Our parents are just waiting for the day when they can hold their very first grandchild in their arms!

We love animals and share our home with our current family, an adopted dog named Katie and cat named Andy. They are best friends and are waiting patiently for the day when they have a playmate to cuddle with. 

Our Home
We live in a quiet suburb of a large city that is filled with families, parks and still remains a place where children walk and ride their bikes to school. We have a loving four-bedroom home complete with a pool for summer fun. A cheerful room is prepared with love for your baby. Rays of yellow warm the room and the walls are decorated with vintage bunny paintings. 

Our Promise to You
We want to thank you for considering us to be the parents to your child. We will provide unconditional love and guidance throughout life’s challenges. Your child will have a strong foundation of faith in God, and we will always be open about how they came to be a part of our family through adoption.
