Dear Birthmother,

Hello! We are Jarod and Beth. Thank you for allowing us to share our family with you. We hope that you will see that we are ready to be parents and to provide all the love, care, and security that you want for your child. We look forward to learning more about you and your plans for your baby. We are excited to start our family through adoption!

About Us
We met nine years ago when we were in college. Jarod came to bring dinner to his sister-in-law at the ER and Beth was working as a nurse’s assistant. We were married seven years ago on the beach in Jamaica. After college, Jarod worked as an Emergency Medical Technician on the ambulance before hiring on to work as a Power Plant Operator; Beth worked as an RN in the Emergency Room before going back to school to get her Nurse Practitioner.

Beth wanted a flexible schedule when we started a family and works part-time at a University Health Center. While Beth enjoys all the time off that colleges offer, Jarod only works 18 days a month.  The flexibility of our schedules allows us to take several small trips each year with our friends and families.  We love to go to the beach during the summer and the mountains during the winter.

About Jarod by Beth
Jarod is my best friend. He is very calming and loving.  He is a true gentlemen, he opens doors for me, and treats me with the utmost respect. I feel extremely blessed to have Jarod as my husband and know that he would be a great teacher, friend, and father for your child.

Jarod loves to be outdoors whether it is hiking, playing golf, camping and sitting by the fire, or wandering around the family farm.

About Beth by Jarod
Beth is the love of my life, my heart and soul.  She is an amazing woman who has a passion for taking care of others. 

She loves to do arts and crafts and has put her own special touch on everything in our home.  I was lucky enough to find a wife who has the same values as my own and will make an amazing mother.

Our Family
We have a very loving, warm, Christian family. Both of our families live within driving distance. Beth’s parents are across town, while her brother and his wife live less than a mile away! Jarod’s parents and brother’s family live about an hour away.

We enjoy spending time with our families whether jumping on the trampoline or making craft projects with the nieces, and fishing or playing golf with the brothers. But, we also enjoy just relaxing in the summer evenings on the porch with family and friends. We attend church on Sundays with Beth’s parents or Jarod’s family. Our families are as excited as we are about adoption and welcoming your child into our family!

Our Home
We live in a small town with a lake, parks, and great schools nearby. Our home is in a subdivision away from busy roads. Our home is a large three bedroom and two bath house with a bonus room in the basement. We live on a large lot with tons of room to run and play. On sunny, warm days, there are many children outside playing and riding bikes in the neighborhood. Our best friends live around the corner with their four year old little girl.

Summer days are usually spent unwinding on the lake with friends and their kids. Saturdays in the fall are reserved for the football parties and cheering on our favorite teams!  During the winter our neighborhood really gets into the Christmas spirit and Jarod strives to have the brightest Christmas lights in the subdivision.  It is a short drive to Jarod’s family’s farm where there are hundreds of acres of woods and fields to ride bikes, fish, hike or play on the tractor. We also enjoy rainy days, where we can hang out on the couch and read a good book.
