More About Our Family
Our Special Interests	For the last several years, we have enjoyed attending air shows due to Jarrod’s love of aviation. The past two years Amy has also helped coordinate the local air show in our town. This has been a fun project and a common interest for us bringing us together with a great aviation community. Other activities we enjoy are cycling, skiing, playing golf, and going to the mountains, beaches and lakes. We also love traveling and experiencing new places. Amy enjoys making digital photo albums of our trips and special events.
Our Faith	We both grew up in homes that kept God at the center and are very thankful for that. We believe our faith provides us with a strong foundation for our marriage and guides us in our relationships with others. We attend a non-denominational church on a regular basis and enjoy being a part of a church family.
Our Musical Interest	Jarrod learned to play the violin and the piano growing up and Amy was taught piano by her dad. Neither of us play instruments now, but appreciated the experience growing up and would encourage our children to explore music if it interests them. We enjoy listening to a lot of Contemporary Christian music, but also enjoy musicians such as Jason Mraz, Michael Buble, John Mayer, Natasha Bedingfield, Faith Hill and others. Growing up in the 1980s we also enjoy the rock/pop music of that decade.
About Our Home	We have a three bedroom, two bath home with an open floor plan. Our back yard is filled with roses and trees and has a grass lawn. We also have a great back patio for enjoying dinners outside during balmy California evenings.
We Live in the State of...	California
Our Neighborhood	We live in a family-friendly neighborhood with wide streets and a park with a jungle gym within walking distance. We live at the end of the cul-de-sac where our neighbor’s children play games, ride their bikes or shoot hoops. About 10 minutes away is a larger city park with great bike paths, a creek, swimming pool and kids park.
