| Quote |
“Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure...than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much, because they live in a gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat.”
–Theodore Roosevelt |
“Dance as though no one is watching you, love as though you have never been hurt before, sing as though no one can hear you, live as though heaven is on earth.”

The start of the Van Morrison song, “Into The Mystic.” |
The sound the trees make when the ocean breeze picks up or when I hear Maria, our daughter, giggle. |
More About Our Family
|
| Our Special Interests |
Our life just wouldn’t be complete if we weren’t constantly on the go enjoying life outdoors with family and friends. Whether it’s a day at the beach, going to a baseball game, walking to the park, or just hanging out in the yard, we enjoy being together. We are actively involved in the community and enjoy taking part in neighborhood events such as picnics, art gallery events, concerts, etc. When time allows, we also like to volunteer in beach clean ups, fire department fundraisers, and other events. |
| Our Faith |
We both grew up Catholic and plan to raise our children in the Catholic faith. We believe we both try to do what is best for others at all times and live our lives dedicated to service. |
| Our Musical Interest |
Jason probably has the best taste of music and he also knows who sings what songs. Jody loves most any type of music but never knows who sings anything. Jason enjoys playing guitar and enjoys alternative, rock, and reggae. Jody enjoys everything from country, 80’s, and show tunes to classical and big band. While Jason can play an instrument, Jody has been singing since high school and is active in the local community theater. She was most recently the lead in the spring musical. |
| About Our Home |
Our home is about eight years old and has three bedrooms. It is an open floor plan and we enjoy our outdoor deck and yard. We believe a house is meant to be home and we make sure our home is comfortable and welcoming so all of our family and friends can enjoy themselves. |
| Our Children |
We adopted our daughter almost three years ago and have truly enjoyed being parents. She is full of interest, laughter, and energy. She loves to play in her kitchen, dress her dolls, read books, and play outside. She also loves to sing and just started swim lessons. |

We live on an island located 20 minutes outside of a major city. We are blessed to live in a coastal paradise in a neighborhood with year-round residents. Our local park is just down the street as well as the beach…both of which we frequent on a regular basis. |

| Future Contact with Birth Family |
We’re open to meeting you before the birth of your child. We will continue to send letters and pictures after the adoption, and are also open to visits.
As an adopted child, Jody was raised with very open discussions of her adoption. Her parents left her desire to meet her birthparents up to Jody. We would like to do the same for our children. With our daughter, we have kept a journal and have created a book about her adoption so she can know everything about her adoption. We would do the same for our second child. We will tell him/her about the wonderful love you had for them.
However, we believe that it should be up to the child to determine if they would like to meet his/her birthparent. |
| Our Promise to You |
We are prepared to love your child unconditionally and to help him/her to grow into the person he/she is meant to be. In addition to a nurturing home full of love and laughter, we promise to provide educational and life-enriching opportunities to your child to help him/her develop his/her abilities and talents. May you find strength and peace in making this very important decision.
