Dear Birthmother,

Our deepest desire is to be parents. After years of trying to have a child, we found out we are unable to have a child on our own. Our faith in God led us to adoption to begin the family we pray for. We know this is the path He has chosen for us, and we couldn’t be more excited!

About Us
We’ve been happily married for over six years, and we’re committed to each other for a lifetime.

We love spending time together, and with family and friends. Camping, fishing, hikes and picnics in the mountains, and traveling are some of the things we enjoy. We also enjoy spending time at home watching movies, playing games, or playing with our dogs, and we eat dinner together each night and catch up on our day. Each summer we take a vacation, and can’t wait to make lasting memories with our child.

About Lora
Lora is the most caring, loving woman I know. She has a huge heart, a warm personality, and a great sense of humor. We laugh together all the time, and I love spending time with her, because we have fun no matter what we do. I love being married to her, and I know she’ll be a wonderful mommy!

Lora likes to scrapbook and make crafts. She also enjoys time with friends and family, and cooking. She is an elementary teacher, and I have never met anyone who loves being around kids more than she does. Lora will take a leave of absence after the baby comes, and will work part time after that. She wants to be a mommy more than anything, and I can’t wait until her dream comes true!

About Jason
Jason is the best husband in the world! He is a strong man with a sweet, gentle heart, and is very kind and loving. He has a great sense of humor, is always smiling, and makes friends wherever he goes. I love being married to such a wonderful man, and I know he’ll be a wonderful daddy!

Jason loves boating, working on cars and home projects, and spending time with friends and family. He’s a local truck driver, with a flexible schedule, and he’s home in the early afternoon every day, which will allow him to be a very involved dad. Watching him be a daddy will be my greatest joy!

Our Family and Faith
We are very close to our families, and both our parents, and most of our family live in the same city as we do, and we see them often. We celebrate birthdays, holidays, and special occasions together. We have a large extended family, and everyone is so excited about our adoption plans. They are counting the days until we get to welcome a baby into our loving family. We can’t wait to raise a child with the same unconditional love and family values we learned from our parents.

Our faith in God is important in our lives. Your child would be raised to know and love God, with Christian values, and we’re committed to raising your child in the church.

Our Home
We live in Washington, in a safe, quiet neighborhood full of young families with children. Nearby are parks, walking and biking paths, and other family centered activities. The mountains, lakes, and the beach are close by as well. Our home is warm and spacious, with four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a nursery ready and waiting.

We share our home with our dogs, Jake and Kirby. They are small dogs, but big on personality, and very loving and affectionate.

We promise to love your child with all our hearts, and to be the best parents we can be. We promise a safe, stable home filled with laughter and happiness, as well as unconditional love and support throughout his/her life. Your child will become part of a loving, caring family, and will know every day how much they are loved.

Your child will always know how God brought him/her into our family, and the miracle that made us a family.
