More About Our Family
Our Special Interests	Music to listen and sing to, road trips to the beach, mountains, museums, art galleries, science museums, zoo, amusement parks, white water rafting, and jet boat trips. Also love to stay at home and flower garden, watch movies, read or just hang out with our extended family. We are a racially and culturally diverse family consisting of African American, Native American, Caucasian and Asian family members.
Our Faith	We are active in our church through participation in Praise Team and the Lord’s Storehouse (food distribution) and Vacation Bible School. Our faith in God and Jesus is the core of who we are. We try to live daily, as He would want us to live and to help others, as we are able to do so with His provision.
Our Musical Interest	We love a large variety of music. Jeffrey likes classic rock and classical, Brenda likes contemporary Christian, classical, musicals and our daughter Jennifer likes contemporary Christian, hip-hop, R&B and musicals. Brenda and Jennifer both play the piano a little and sing in church and school choirs.
About Our Home	Our home is a three bedroom, two bath ranch-style home with a covered deck outside. It sits on 42 acres of forest land on a natural meadow. The floor plan is extremely open with vaulted 12-foot ceilings and skylights for lots of natural light. We can see and hear each other from nearly every room in the house.
Our Children	Jason is 21 and has been living on his own in town for two years now. His interests are music, Anime and Internet video games. Jennifer is 18 and will be attending the local community college in the fall while living at home. She is interested in music, culinary arts, and working with children. Both of them are very excited to have a new brother or sister.
We Live in the State of...	Oregon
Our Neighborhood	We live in a rural area across from a world-renowned Morgan horse ranch. Other than the owners of the horse ranch, our neighbors are all Brenda’s extended family. The land has been in the family for 100 years and we all have our respective homes on these 47 acres of pasture and forest land. Our home is five miles from the closest hospital, three miles from the local community college, and 10 miles from town. We are also a half hour to four hours from many local sites such as national parks, caves, zoos, museums of art and science, wildlife parks and the some of the best beaches on the Oregon coast.
