Dear Birthmother,

We are Sarah and Jeffrey.  When we couldn’t have children naturally, we started our family through adoption. Your child will have a big brother named Hayes waiting. Adoption has been a blessing for us and we are eager to invite another child into our hearts and home. 

About Us
We met as college students and married soon after graduation.  After a year out west, we returned to Sarah’s hometown in Mississippi and have created a wonderful life. 

We love to travel and enjoy outdoor activities like playing tennis, running, boating and fishing.  Trips with our family are spent between the beach and the lake.  Jeffrey loves to catch lots of fresh seafood in the Gulf of Mexico, while Sarah and Hayes enjoy playing in the sand and water.

We often have friends over to our house.  Sarah is always trying out new recipes while Jeffrey perfects his grilling.  When we aren’t entertaining, you can find us gardening or watching movies.

About Sarah (by Jeffrey)
I was first attracted to Sarah’s curly hair and her smile.  I fell in love with her values, her positive outlook and her family.  Sarah is caring, loving and compassionate.  From the moment Sarah held our son she has been a natural.  Whenever Hayes needs comforting it is Sarah he reaches for! 

Sarah has created a warm and inviting home for us.  Spring is her favorite time of year so she can plant flowers in the yard.  Sarah is a runner and competes in races all over the Southeast.  She talked me into learning tennis a few years ago and we’ve played together ever since.  

Sarah raises money for scholarships at a local university.  Though Hayes is now old enough for daycare during the day, we both have the flexibility to stay home whenever needed.  Sarah’s mother will take care of your baby in our home.

About Jeffrey (by Sarah)
The one thing you’ll remember and quickly come to love about Jeffrey is his laugh.  That contagious chuckle is unforgettable and probably the thing that first attracted me to Jeffrey.  He has an energy about him that makes me feel on top of the world!

Jeffrey sells real estate and has helped many families find their first home. Jeffrey is a strong believer in working hard and playing harder!  He loves any activity that takes him outdoors.  He will try anything -a new ski run or rafting down rapids- nothing holds him back. 

Jeffrey has been a hands-on daddy.  He’s very patient with Hayes and loves helping him learn new things.    

About Hayes
One look at that smile and you know Hayes is all about having fun!  Hayes is very social and loves his “school” where he plays with friends and learns so much. 

He loves dancing to music and giving high fives.  It’s hard to slow him down long, but offer him a book and he’ll snuggle up.   We know Hayes will be a great big brother!

Our Families
Sarah’s parents live in same town and have been doting grandparents and Jeffrey’s parents visit often.  We have lots of support from our siblings.  Your baby will have lots of cousins waiting to welcome him or her.

Our Home and Community
We live in a small town in Mississippi.  Our state university is here, so every day is filled with activities you’d find in a big city in the safety of a close-knit community.  

Our three-bedroom home is just the right size.  While we already have a lot of the gear that babies need, your child will definitely have a room of their own in our home.

Our Faith
We are both committed to raising your child in a loving, Christian environment.  The foundation of our faith was laid when we were children.  We believe that it is our responsibility as parents to provide the same foundation for our children.

Our Promise
We entered into a second adoption after long discussions and lots of prayer.  We promise a home full of unconditional love and support.  We are committed to providing education through college and beyond if your child desires.  We will always be open with your child about our family’s unique design and that he or she is a miracle shared with us.  We remain open to you through letters, phone calls and visits, if you wish.
