| Our Special Interests |
We love to travel and experience other countries, cultures and foods. We both love the outdoors: Jerry likes to fish and hunt and Michelle likes to walk the dogs and work in the garden. We also enjoy being at home with each other, working around the house. |
| Our Faith |
We are a Christian family, although we do not attend a church. We live our lives with good values and morals and work hard to instill this in our children. |
| Our Musical Interest |
Jerry loves anything country! Michelle is more into the top 40. We compromise in the car; whoever drives chooses the station!!!
In school, Michelle played the recorder and clarinet. Jerry has a guitar and is slowly teaching himself to play.
Corey was in school band when we lived in Japan and played the trombone. He did not enjoy the practice that went with playing an instrument, but did enjoy the exposure to music. |
| About Our Home |
Our house is a new four bedroom, three bathroom, two-story brick home. It is set on a half acre lot and has a fully fenced back yard. We have plans to finish the games room and turn the huge attic into a theatre room. We have started working on decorating the nursery. |
| Our Children |
We have an adopted son Corey. He is 14 and he became our son two years ago. Corey is Jerry’s nephew, and we are so grateful and blessed that Jerry’s sister entrusted us with him. He is outgoing, enjoys sports, fishing, hunting and helping his dad grill. He is a boy Scout and loves his camping trips.
Jerry has two daughters, Alyssa and Erica, 10 and 13. They live in Japan with their mother. We were stationed in Japan for the last three years to enable us to see them often. Now we keep in touch with phone calls weekly, emails and pictures. They visit us every summer. |

| Our Neighborhood |
We live in a brand new neighborhood; only about 30% of the houses are finished being built. It is a quiet place and we have lovely neighborhood friends. We enjoy cookouts with the neighbors and the kids all enjoy playing in the front yards under sprinklers in the summer, or sledding after our occasional snow. |
