Dear Birthmother,

We are blessed to share our lives with our daughter who came to us through the wonder of adoption in March 2007 and are excited about expanding our family again.

About Us
We love each other very much and are each others’ best friend.  Being together can be a blast or just wonderfully comforting.  Whether we're playing backgammon on the patio, barbecuing with friends in our backyard, or  turning up the music and dancing around the house with our daughter, everything is more fun and complete when we‘re together.

Before we married, we shared a dream to raise a family.  Even though we cannot have children biologically, that dream first came true when we adopted our daughter, Christina.

We enjoy traveling and its adventures like riding mules down into the Grand Canyon, and snorkeling with sea turtles in Hawaii.  Our best times now are sharing our enchantment with the beauty of this world with our child.  As members of a seaside resort, we can bring our children there to play and splash in the pool, as well as build sand castles and dig for sand crabs on the beach. 

About Corinne, by John
Corinne is a patient, kind and generous mom who loves to make the world a most wonderful place for her family. I find it especially satisfying to watch her interact with our child.  Sounds of giggles and laughter are often heard when she is with Christina.  A nature girl at heart, each spring she plants a new garden full of tomatoes.  Whether playing piano or baking homemade bread, she fills our home with the most beautiful sounds and scents of joy!

Corinne has a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology.  She is an incredible mom because she has real insight into how children think and shows them much compassion.   A line from her favorite prayer reads, “Make me an instrument of your peace.”  Corinne strives to do this every day. 

About John, by Corinne
I am so thankful to be married to John.  He is warm, loving and playful, and my sanctuary from the world.  John is a fantastic dad.  I cherish the times I see him dancing and singing with our daughter.  John spices up our lives with his creativity and enthusiasm.  One of my favorite things is listening to John play a song on the piano that he just heard on the radio.  It makes me laugh when he reads bedtime stories to Christina – he adds extra details to make the stories more interesting.       

John works in business development for a uniform and apparel company.  With a home office, he is often able to enjoy some family time in the middle of the day!

About Christina
We cherish our daughter, Christina, who keeps us in touch with the joys of life on a daily basis.  She wakes up saying “grapes” which means it’s time for breakfast and grapes! 

Her favorite activities are: jumping up and down, sliding at the park, playing in water, dancing whenever she hears music, and taking walks to collect leaves or pine cones.  She loves hats and doggies and rides in her stroller and delights in playing with her cousins and her play group buddies.

Our Families
John has one sister.  Corinne has two brothers and two sisters.  Between us, we have eight nephews and two nieces.  We like to go to grandma’s where the cousins swim together.  Our children will be part of many birthday and graduation parties, shared vacations, holiday celebrations, barbeques, and family adventures. Our families look forward to the addition of another child and are eager to share our joy.

Our Home
Our southern California neighborhood is an ideal location for raising children.  It is safe and family-friendly and our cul-de-sac is often filled with children playing.  Families gather by our nearby lake to feed the ducks and fish.  We have nature trails that lead in all directions and one to our local elementary school.  We share our home with our tortoise, Hermadine.
