Hello and thank you for taking the time to learn more about us! We are John & Kathryn from coastal Georgia. We have been married more than 8 wonderful years and have always known adoption was the right choice for us. We can’t wait to adopt our first child.

All About Us:
We met about 13 years ago and hit it off right away. We have a very loving bond and have always wanted children. Due to multiple infertility issues, we knew adoption would be how we would build our family. We are very excited to become parents!

We both are college graduates and have very good jobs. There is a great daycare at the hospital Kathryn works at so on the three days she works, the baby will go with her. We believe in morals, continuing education, honesty and just good old fashioned descent people. We are Christian and believe we have been truly blessed by God.

About John from Kathryn:
John is my soul mate and I don't know how my life would be with out him! He will be a great father because he is compassionate, devoted and very caring. I have always felt comfort in knowing John was my “sidekick” and that no matter what he will always be on my team and take care of me. He is hard working and has sacrificed a lot during marriage. He worked two jobs so that I could go back to college, and then I did the same for him. He has several brothers and sisters and I admire his close relationships with them. John is very handy and can fix anything; he is a fast learner and always has received good grades. He enjoys going out in our boat, hunting, remodeling old cars, and wood working.

About Kathryn from John:
I first met Kathryn while making a delivery to a grocery store that she was working at. I thought she had a nice personality, and was level-headed. We started dating, and then it led to marriage. Kathryn is sweet, patient, caring, devoted, dependable, trustworthy and most of all, loveable. She always thinks of others. I know she would be the perfect mom, because she is very creative and always has to hold and play with all of the children in our family. Kathryn is an only child so she doesn’t have any nieces or nephews. I have several nieces and nephews, not to mention our cousin’s kids, so they keep her busy. I love her with all my heart and hope to share that love with our children one day.

Our Hobbies:
We love to have a good time and enjoy taking trips with our families. Adventures are one of life’s simple blessings! We are very easygoing and enjoy just about everything.

We live very near the beach and love taking the nieces and nephews to surf and build sand castles. We take annual trips to the mountains and Florida camp grounds. We love nature and outdoors but also enjoy touring museums and cultural events. Nature walks, bike rides and hiking are hobbies that we do together or with family. We love to cook and bake; we have a lot of family recipes that we enjoy putting together. When we are not out of town we enjoy reading at home and watching movies. Yard work is another fun hobby that we enjoy.

Our Home:
We live in a newer brick home in a kid-friendly neighborhood. We have two spare rooms, one of which we have started preparing to be a nursery. We can’t wait to raise children in our home.

Our Pets:
Our dogs are like part of our family. They are very good with children and love playing ball in the yard.

Our nieces and nephews love to spend the night at our house because they know the dogs will keep them very busy. We go on long walks and take them camping with us.
