We'd like to take a moment to thank you for considering us as your baby's adoptive parents and wish you God's speed in your search for the right couple. We have always wanted to have children, but infertility put that desire on hold. Adoption was always a consideration for us, and since Tami is adopted herself, it was an easy choice to make. We feel that Tami's positive experience with adoption will help your child to feel special.

About Our Community
Currently, we live in the "Last, Best Place," Montana. We have lived here for the last eight years of our 15 years of marriage. The people here are friendly and genuinely caring of each other. The area offers lots of "child friendly" activities like ice skating, skiing, library children's time, oodles of summer camps, and moms and kids clubs, as well as a children's museum and activity center. The schools are some of the best in the U.S. and the local college is also one of the best. We feel very blessed to live in such a vibrant area where there is always something fun to do.

About John
John is a very handsome, rugged looking man that no matter what will become the favorite of the kids at any gathering. They seem to "read" right through him and know there is a boy in there just waiting to get out. Our friend's kids know that John knows all about computers, how to build a tree house and, yes, can skip down a mountain side when it is required. His sense of humor and candor lets kids know they are important to him and nothing they do or say is silly or beneath him.

John has strong ties with his family even though they don't live close by. His mom, brother Ken, and sister Kristy, stay in close contact by phone or Internet, weekly. There are seven brothers and sisters in John's family and there was never a dull moment in his house. Now there are several nieces and nephews and even some of them have children too. John's mom is looking forward to welcoming another grandchild and says she's on the first plane out when we have our little one home.

About Tami
Tami was adopted from birth, as were her two older brothers. This was never kept a secret from them and they were often referred to as the "prayed for" babies. Adoption is special in her family and birthmothers are held in high regard. This is the way she wants to approach adoption with her own children.

Tami was raised in a Christian home with lots of love and laughter. Her father is a retired minister and there were always church functions and activities to attend. Her brothers are several years older, but they are still close in many ways. Family was the main priority growing up and she and John want the same for their family.

Lifestyle
We both love the easy, casual lifestyle that is Montana. We both enjoy camping, snowmobiling, jet skiing, hiking, going to the movies and soaking in our hot tub. But most important is our commitment to a Christian way of life. We belong to the Seventh Day Adventist church and are quite active within that community. Tami is involved with women's ministries, children's programming and various other groups. John is currently involved in the remodeling of our church and helps fellow members whenever he can. We both believe in raising a child to know Jesus and His love for them. Our parenting style will be based on that unconditional love that God shows for us.

Pets
We have two very loved pets in our house. One is our black and white cat named Snicker Doodle and the other is our one-and-a-half-year-old Golden Retriever, Mandy.
