We're from Georgia!

We are choosing to
adopt a child because:
We cannot have kids of our own. While we were once devastated by this fact, we realize that we want desperately to be parents and have so much love to give children. We are looking forward to being parents and being a blessing to our adopted child(ren) as we have been to each other.

The things that make our family special and unique are:
We are a family that is defined first by love. We love each other and we love our families. This love is expressed in many ways and anyone that visits us can sense the joy in our house – this is why we are always sharing our home with our family and friends. We love to spend time together traveling, watching movies, playing video games, cooking and especially entertaining. We have a large family which includes our extended family and friends. We are both committed to education. Jonathan has his Ph.D. and is a college professor. Pam is a senior-level administrator at a local school district and is working on her own Ph.D. Jonathan cannot wait to throw a big party for her when she finishes (which should be soon).

The things we look forward to sharing with a child are:
Love, safety, joy, kindness, generosity, gratitude, a HUGE extended family, financial security, the best education available, high expectations, accountability, international travel and…more LOVE!

Other members of our family eager to welcome a child are:
There are too many names for this limited space. Beyond our immediate families, we have many, many close friends that have endured our challenges with us and remain hopeful and prayerful that our quest to adopt is successful. Our adopted child(ren) will be loved beyond measure!
